Abstract

Keaktifan belajar siswa dapat membuat pembelajaran berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran yang akan dicapai dan dapat berpengaruh pada perkembangan sosial, emosi dan berpikir siswa. pengamatan selama program Praktek Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) di salah satu sekolah di Tangerang, ditemukan bahwa siswa memiliki keaktifan belajar yang rendah, dengan persentase keaktifan belajar sebanyak 23,98%. Manusia diciptakan dengan natur mampu aktif dalam setiap tanggung jawab yang diberikan oleh Allah. Pengembangan keaktifan belajar siswa dapat dilakukan dengan melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan penerapan Contextual Teaching & Learning (CTL). Tujuan penulisan paper ini ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan CTL dalam membantu meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa di dalam kelas. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Melalui penerapan CTL yang dilakukan dilakukan terjadi perkembangan keaktifan belajar siswa sebanyak 44,71%. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh penerapan langkah seperti guru memberikan penjelasan materi awal kepada siswa, guru memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk bekerja di dalam kelompok, siswa menyelesaikan soal yang diberikan oleh guru melalui analisa, siswa mengajukan pertanyaan, guru bersama siswa memberikan refleksi pembelajaran, (6) pengerjaan latihan soal, dan pemberian penilaian kepada siswa Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan guru melakukan observasi serta penerapan model pembelajaran dalam jangka waktu yang lebih lama untuk mengatasi keterbatasan data dan penerapannya. / The success of learning is greatly influenced by student learning activeness. Student learning activeness is very important in learning because the orientation of learning itself is students. Based on observations during the field experience practice program in one of the schools in Tangerang, it was found that students had low learning activeness, with a percentage of learning activeness of 23.98%. Humans are created by God as social creatures who interact with each other so it is necessary to form interactions as a form of student learning activeness. The development of student learning activeness can be done by actively involving students in the learning process. Therefore, the solution to overcome this problem is the application of Contextual Teaching & Learning (CTL). The purpose of writing this paper is to describe the application of CTL in helping to increase student learning activeness in the classroom. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Through the application of CTL, there was a development of student learning activeness as much as 44.71%. It can be seen from the development of students paying attention to the teacher's explanation, students asking questions, students responding to questions, students expressing their opinions & underst&ing, & students doing the tasks given by the teacher. Thus, it can be concluded that CTL is able to develop students' learning activeness. Future research is expected to observe & apply the learning model over a longer period of time to overcome data limitations & its application.
