Abstract

Kaifa Faala Rifa (01071200057) Hubungan Penggunaan Kaos Kaki Terhadap Pertumbuhan Jamur Mikosis Superfisialis Pada Sela Jari Kaki Pegawai Kantor Pengadilan Agama Tigaraksa Latar belakang: Mikosis superfisialis merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang cukup banyak di derita penduduk negara tropis salah satunya Indonesia, dan dapat menganggu kenyamanan dalam melakukan aktifitas sehari-hari bagi penderitanya. Selain dipengaruhi oleh iklim, ada beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan jamur, salah satunya Alat Pelindung Diri yaitu kaos kaki yang tidak mudah menyerap keringat dapat menjadi faktor prediposisi tumbuhnya jamur Mikosis Superfisialis pada sela-sela jari kaki. Hal ini menimbulkan dampak yang signifikan akan mengurangi estetika, menimbulkan bau, dan sulit diobati. Hal ini didukung dengan studi yang menyatakan adanya hubungan penggunaan alat pelindung diri kaki dengan pertumbuhan jamur, namun adapula yang tidak menemukan hubungan yang signifikan. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan antara penggunaan kaos kaki terhadap pertumbuhan jamur Mikosis Superfisialis pada sela jari kaki pegawai kantor Pengadilan Agama Tigaraksa. Metodologi: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2023 dengan metode cross-sectional dan desain anailitik komperatif kategorik tidak berpasangan. Cara pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling pada 60 orang pegawai kantor Pengadilan Agama Tigaraksa. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan scapel atau cellophane tape, kemudian pemeriksaan langsung dengan KOH 20% dan dibiak pada media sabouraud dextrose agar. Setelah itu koloni diperiksa dengan mikroskop cahaya. Data yang terkumpul dikelompokkan pada Microsoft Excel, kemudia di analisa dengan SPSS Statistics, dan di uji menggunakan Fisher’s Exact Test. Hasil: Penelitian melibatkan sejumlah 60 orang sampel pengguna kaos kaki dengan hasil kultur positif sebanyak 53 (88,3%) dan hasil kultur negatif sebanyak 7 (11,7%). Berdasarkan uji Chi Square didapatkan nilai p sebesar 1,00 sehingga P value > 0,05 dan menunjukan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan kaos kaki dengan pertumbuhan jamur Mikosis Superfisialis pada sela jari kaki. Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian tidak memnunjukan hubungan yang signifikan anatar penggunaan kaos kaki dengan pertumbuhan jamur mikosis superfisialis pada sela jari kaki pegawai kantor Pengadilan Agama Tigaraksa dengan nilai p 1,00 dan OR 1,190 yang disimpulkan apabila seseorang menggunakan kaos kaki jenis non katun (polyester dan wool) maka kesempatan mereka terkena jamur mikosis superfisialis adalah sebesar 1,190 kali. Kata kunci: Mikosis Superfisialis, kaos kaki Referensi: 48 / Kaifa Faala Rifa (01071200057) Correlation between the use of socks and the growth of superficial mycosis fungi between the toes of employees of the Tigaraksa Religious Court Background: Superficial mycosis is a health problem that affects quite a lot of people in tropical countries, one of which is Indonesia, and can interfere with the comfort of carrying out daily activities for sufferers. Apart from being influenced by climate, there are several factors that can affect the growth of fungi, one of which is Personal Protective Equipment, namely socks that do not easily absorb sweat, which can be a predisposing factor for the growth of Superficial Mycosis fungus on between the toes. This has a significant impact on reducing aesthetics, causing odor, and is difficult to treat. This is supported by research which states that there is a relationship between the use of personal protective equipment for feet and the growth of fungi, but some have found no significant relationship. Objective: Knowing the relationship between the use of socks on the growth of the Superficial Mycosis fungus in between the toes of the employees of the Tigaraksa Religious Court. Methodology: This research was conducted in February 2023 using a cross-sectional method and an unpaired categorical comparative analytical design. The sampling method used purposive sampling on 60 employees of the Tigaraksa Religious Court office. Samples were taken using a scalpel or cellophane tape, then direct examination with 20% KOH and cultured on sabouraud dextrose agar media. After that the colonies were examined with a light microscope. The collected data were grouped in Microsoft Excel, then analyzed with SPSS Statistics, and tested using the Fisher's Exact Test. Results: The study involved a sample of 60 people wearing socks with positive culture results in 53 (88,3%) and negative culture results in 7 (11,7%). Based on the Chi Square test, a p value of 1.00 was obtained so that the P value was > 0.05 and showed that there was no significant relationship between the use of socks and the growth of Superficial Mycosis fungi between the toes. Conclusion: The results of the study did not show a significant relationship between the use of socks and the growth of the superficial mycosis fungus between the toes of the employees of the Tigaraksa Religious Court with a p value of 1.00 and OR 1,190 which concluded that if someone uses non-cotton (polyester and wool socks), their chances of being exposed to the fungus superficial mycoses is 1,190 times.
