Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA membantu siswa memahami konsep-konsep yang bersifat abstrak yang membutuhkan konsentrasi tinggi dan keterlibatan aktif dalam pembelajaran. Kurangnya keaktifan siswa menyebabkan penurunan prestasi yang ditandai dengan pembelajaran IPA kurang disukai karena membahas mengenai konsep-konsep bentuk dan struktur yang abstrak serta bersifat mikroskopis. Tujuan dari penulisan adalah model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa kelas IX pada pembelajaran IPA. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian memperoleh hasil keberhasilan meningkatnya keaktifan siswa ditandai dengan siswa mengikuti pembelajaran dengan mencatat materi pembelajaran, siswa berani bertanya, siswa berani menjawab pertanyaan dari guru dan siswa berani menyampaikan pendapat maupun mempresentasikan hasil pemahamannya. Langkah-langkah pada model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing adalah orietasi pembelajaran, merumuskan masalah, merumuskan hipotesi, mengumpulkan data, analisis data, kesimpulan dan refleksi. Filsafat pendidikan Kristen melandasi hal-hal yang mendasar dari kebenaran firman Allah. Guru Kristen menuntun dan membimbing siswa untuk aktif dalam pembelajaran melalui penjelasan materi yang berlandaskan kebenaran Alkitab. Guru Kristen harus mencerminkan dan menerapkan sesuai firman Tuhan agar siswa dapat melihat teladan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Saran penelitian adalah perlu adanya variasi metode yang bervariasi sehingga pembelajaran lebih menarik dan dapat mengoptimalisasi pemahaman konsep siswa. / Science learning helps students understand abstract concepts that require high concentration and active involvement in learning. The lack of student activity causes a decrease in achievement which is characterized by science learning is less preferred because it discusses abstract and microscopic concepts of form and structure. The purpose of writing is that the guided inquiry learning model can increase the activeness of grade IX students in science learning. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. The research obtained the results of the success of increasing student activeness marked by students participating in learning by recording learning material, students dare to ask, students dare to answer questions from teachers and students dare to express opinions and present the results of their understanding. The steps in the guided inquiry learning model are learning orietation, formulating problems, formulating hypotheses, collecting data, data analysis, conclusions and reflections. The philosophy of Christian education underlies the fundamentals of the truth of God's Word. Christian teachers guide and guide students to be active in learning through the explanation of material based on Bible truth. Christian teachers are to reflect and apply according to God's word so that students can see examples in daily life. Research suggestions are the need for a variety of varied methods so that learning is more interesting and can optimize students' understanding of concepts.
