Abstract

Guru Kristen berperan untuk menuntun siswa memiliki pemahaman Alkitab yang baik. Faktanya, siswa tidak memiliki pemahaman Alkitab yang baik karena belum pernah mempelajarinya, tidak tahu, dan belum benar-benar paham. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan di sekolah, rata-rata 23 orang siswa dalam setiap kelas belum memiliki pemahaman Alkitab, dan hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata nilai pre-test masih rendah. Maka, tujuan penulisan adalah menerapkan metode diskusi kelompok untuk meningkatkan pemahaman Alkitab siswa kelas X. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, data pengamatan PPL-2 di sekolah, dan sumber kajian literatur. Guru Kristen menuntun siswa memiliki pengetahuan, sikap, keterampilan, relasi, dan kerohanian yang berdasarkan prinsip Alkitab. Melalui diskusi kelompok, siswa menjadi komunitas belajar yang saling bertumbuh, wadah untuk dilayani atau melayani sesama, menerima perbedaan pendapat, saling melengkapi, dan membangun dalam pemahaman Alkitab. Siswa seharusnya tidak hanya tahu pembelajaran, tetapi guru menuntun bahwa potensi yang dimiliki berguna untuk melayani Tuhan dan sesama. Menerapkan diskusi kelompok merupakan salah satu wujud peran guru sebagai penuntun dalam proses pembelajaran. Disimpulkan, penerapan diskusi kelompok berhasil untuk meningkatkan pemahaman Alkitab siswa kelas X dengan enam langkah penerapannya. Saran penulis adalah menerapkan diskusi kelompok 2-3 kali pada pertemuan kelas untuk lebih mengetahui tingkat keberhasilannya / Christian teachers’ role to guide students have a good understanding of the Bible. In fact, students do not have a good understanding of the Bible because they have never studied it, do not know, and do not really understand. Based on observations in school, an average of 23 students in class do not yet have a Bible understanding, and the average pre-test results are still low. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to apply the group discussion method to improve the Bible comprehension of grade 10th students. The research method used are descriptive qualitative, PPL-2 observation data in schools, and sources of literature studies. Christian teachers guide students to have knowledge, attitudes, skills, relationships, and spirituality based on Biblical principles. The goal is to serve God and others. Through each other and students become a growing learning community, a place to serving others or serving one another, accepting differences of opinion, equipping, and build on Biblical understanding. Students should not only know the subject matter, but teachers guide students to make their potential useful to serve God and others. Implementing group discussions is a form of a teacher’s role as a guide in the learning process. To summarize, the implementation of group discussions has proven successful in enhancing Bible's understanding of 10th grade students with six steps of implementation. The author's suggestion is to implement group discussions 1 – 3 times at class meetings to better know the success rate.
