Abstract

Keaktifan siswa menjadi salah satu unsur penting yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan proses pembelajaran di kelas. Dalam pendidikan Kristen keaktifan siswa mengembangkan potensi dirinya dalam pembelajaran merupakan bentuk pertanggung jawaban akan identitas diri sebagai Imago Dei. Guru Kristen dipanggil untuk mengenali siswa akan identitas dirinya dengan membawa siswa kepada pengenalan akan Kristus. Oleh karena itu pentingnya peran guru Kristen dalam memberikan pembelajara yang berfokus pada siswa dan berpusat pada Kristus, sehingga melaluinya meningkatkan kesadaran siswa dalam mempergunakan setiap potensi yang Tuhan berikan. Penulis menemukan permasalahan mengenai ketidakaktifan siswa di kelas XI. Hal ini terlihat dari pasifnya siswa dalam menjawab pertanyaan guru, siswa hanya memberikan respon ketika namanya disebutkan secara langsung, sedikit siswa yang mengajukan pertanyaan saat diberi kesempatan, dan pasifnya siswa dalam berdiskusi. Mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penulis menerapkan metode tanya jawab untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji penerapan metode pembelajaran tanya jawab dalam usaha meningkatkan keaktifan siswa kelas XI. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitan menunjukkan penerapan metode tanya jawab mampu meningkatkan keaktifan siswa di dalam kelas. Saran dari penulis adalah guru perlu menganalisis kemampuan dan kebutuhan siswa, guru harus konsisten dalam menerapkan metode ini, dan guru juga perlu untuk mengatur waktu dengan baik dalam menerapkan metode ini./Student activity is an important element that influences the success of the learning process in class. In Christian education, students' activeness in developing their potential in learning is a form of responsibility for their identity as Imago Dei. Christian teachers are called to recognize students' self-identity by bringing students to the knowledge of Christ. Therefore, the role of Christian teachers is important in providing learning that is student-focused and Christ-centered, thereby increasing students' awareness of using every potential that God has given. The author found problems regarding student inactivity in class XI. This can be seen from the students' passiveness in answering the teacher's questions, students only respond when their names are mentioned directly, few students ask questions when given the opportunity, and students' passiveness in discussing. To overcome this problem, the author applies the question-and-answer method to increase students' active involvement in learning. This research aims to examine the application of the question-and-answer learning method to increase the activity of class XI students. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The research results show that the application of the question-and-answer method can increase student activity in the classroom. The author's advice is that teachers need to analyze students' abilities and needs, teachers must be consistent in applying this method, and teachers also need to manage time well in implementing this method.
