Abstract

Dalam perkembangan abad ke-21 yang memerlukan inovasi pembelajaran untuk menjawab kemajuan zaman, masih banyak guru yang lebih mengandalkan pembelajaran konvensional. Tulisan ini bertujuan memaparkan peran guru Kristen sebagai inovator dalam merancang inovasi pembelajaran abad ke-21 dan pentingnya peran guru Kristen sebagai inovator dalam merancang inovasi pembelajaran yang alkitabiah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur. Guru Kristen sebagai inovator sangat mendukung perkembangan zaman serta menjadikannya sarana pemuliaan Allah dan pemuridan siswa melalui inovasi pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang alkitabiah. Hal tersebut bagian dari tanggung jawab menjalankan misi Allah. Guru Kristen sebagai inovator berperan merancang inovasi pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang berpusat pada Kristus dan berorientasi pada siswa, melibatkan siswa dalam kolaborasi dan dengan lingkungan sosial, merancang pembelajaran kontekstual dan alkitabiah, serta merancang pembelajaran yang menantang dan tempat siswa berekspresi. Pentingnya peran guru Kristen merancang inovasi pembelajaran yang alkitabiah untuk membawa siswa ditransformasi Roh Kudus dan semakin serupa Kristus di tengah perkembangan zaman. Saran bagi guru Kristen sebagai inovator adalah mengikuti kelas-kelas daring/ luring, lokakarya, ataupun seminar (daring/ luring) terkait topik keterampilan merancang inovasi pembelajaran abad ke-21 secara general maupun alkitabiah (jika ada), dan pengenalan/ penguasaan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, serta berkolaborasi dengan rekan-rekan guru dalam merancang inovasi pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang alkitabiah. / In the development of the 21st century, which requires learning innovations to respond to the times, many teachers still rely more on conventional learning. This paper aims to explain the role of Christian teachers as innovators in designing 21st century learning innovations and the importance of the role of Christian teachers as innovators in designing biblical learning innovations. The research method used is literature review. Christian teachers as innovators strongly support the development of the times and make it a means of glorifying God and discipling students through biblical 21st century learning innovations. This is part of the responsibility of carrying out God's mission. Christian teachers as innovators play a role in designing 21st century learning innovations that are Christ-centered and student-oriented, involving students in collaboration and with the social environment, designing contextual and biblical learning, as well as designing challenging learning and a place for students to express themselves. The important 2 role of Christian teachers is to design biblical learning innovations to bring students to be transformed by the Holy Spirit and become more Christ-like in the midst of the times. Suggestions for Christian teachers as innovators are to attend online/ offline classes, workshops, or seminars (online/ offline) related to the topic of skills in designing general and biblical 21st century learning innovations (if any), and introduction/ mastery of technology-based learning tools, and collaborate with fellow teachers in designing biblical 21st century learning innovations.
