Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of examining the relationship between psychological well-being and work and family conflicts among women working in Jabodetabek. Psychological well-being itself is a manifestation of all forms of one's achievements in accepting one's shortcomings and advantages, being able to make decisions independently, being able to create good relationships with others, being able to control the surrounding environment, having life goals and being able to realize potential or abilities in themselves. Work and family conflict is a form of conflict that arises in multiple roles between family or work, because it takes a lot of time and attention to each role. The population of this study was working mothers in Jabodetabek who were married and had children. 25-60 years old. The subjects of the study amounted to 157 people. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using the Psychological Well-being Scale and Work and Family Conflict Scale. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that there was a significantly negative relationship between psychological well-being and work and family conflicts. The results obtained stated that the higher the work and family conflicts experienced, the lower the psychological well-being. Likewise, the lower the work and family conflict, the higher the psychological well-being. / Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melihat adanya hubungan antara kesejahteraan psikologis dengan konflik pekerjaan dan keluarga pada wanita bekerja di Jabodetabek. Kesejahteraan psikologis sendiri merupakan manifestasi dari semua bentuk pencapaian seseorang dalam melakukan penerimaan atas kekurangan dan kelebihan pada dirinya, dapat mengambil keputusan secara mandiri, mampu menciptakan relasi yang baik dengan orang lain, dapat mengendalikan lingkungan sekitarnya, mempunyai tujuan hidup dan dapat merealisasikan potensi atau kemampuan dalam dirinya. Konflik pekerjaan dan keluarga adalah bentuk konflik yang timbul pada peran ganda antara keluarga atau pun pekerjaan, karena diperlukan banyak waktu dan perhatian yang diluangkan untuk suatu peran. Populasi penelitian ini adalah Ibu bekerja di Jabodetabek yang sudah menikah dan memiliki anak. Berusia 25-60 tahun. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 157 ibu. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Psychological Well-being Scale dan Work and Family Conflict Scale. Hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang negatif secara signifikan antara kesejahteraan psikologis dengan konflik pekerjaan dan keluarga. Hasil yang didapatkan menyatakan bahwa semakin tinggi konflik pekerjaan dan keluarga yang dialami, maka semakin rendah kesejahteraan psikologis. Begitu pun sebaliknya, semakin renah konflik pekerjaan dan keluarga maka semakin tinggi kesejahteraan psikologis.
