Abstract

Merencanakan karir atau pendidikan di masa depan adalah salah satu hal yang penting bagi seorang siswa, mengingat mereka perlu memahami bagaimana dan seperti apa jalur karir yang akan mereka pilih. Salah satu tujuan dari perencanaan karir sendiri adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman diri dan juga mempersiapkan diri yang bertujuan untuk mencapai kepuasan dalam bekerja di hari yang akan datang. Pentingnya memiliki tingkat efikasi diri yang tinggi dalam kematangan karier adalah salah satu elemen kunci untuk membuat keputusan yang tepat dalam karier. Penelitian telah mengungkapkan variasi dalam tingkat korelasi antara kedua faktor ini. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan yang ada antara efikasi diri dalam kematangan karir. Dari 237 siswa SMA di Tangerang dianalisa dengan metode kuantitatif, menggunakan Analisa korelasi Pearson dengan aplikasi JASP versi 0.17.0. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner SEQ (Self-Efficacy Questionnaire) dan CMI (Career Maturity Inventory) yang telah diterjemahkan ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara Efikasi diri dengan kematangan karir (r = 0.357, p<0.001). Hal ini mengartikan bahwa adanya hubungan antara Efikasi diri dengan kematangan Karir dalam Siswa SMA di Tangerang / Planning a career or education in the future is one of the important things for a student, considering that they need to understand how and what kind of career path they will choose. One of the goals of career planning is to increase self- understanding and prepare oneself with the aim of achieving satisfaction at work in the future. The importance of having a high level of self-efficacy in career maturity is one of the key elements for making the right career decisions. Research has revealed variations in the degree of correlation between these two factors. Therefore, this research aims to explain the relationship that exists between self-efficacy and career maturity. 237 high school students in Tangerang were analyzed using quantitative methods, using Pearson correlation analysis with the JASP application version 0.17.0. Data collection uses the SEQ (Self-Efficacy Questionnaire) and CMI (Career Maturity Inventory) questionnaires which have been translated into Indonesian. The results of this research show that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and career maturity (r = 0.357, p<0.001). This means that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and career maturity in high school students in Tangerang
