Abstract

Emerging adulthood marks a crucial phase in the development of romantic relationships. It is essential for emerging adults to establish and maintain a satisfying and well-functioning relationship. One of the factors that can influence relationship satisfaction is romantic beliefs. Romantic beliefs consist of a set of expectations and beliefs held by individuals regarding romantic relationships. This study employs a non-experimental quantitative research methodology, using the Romantic Beliefs Scale (RBS) and the Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS). The research participants consist of 153 emerging adults aged 18-29 who are actively dating, selected through purposive sampling. This research uses linear regression analysis to determine whether romantic beliefs have an impact on the romantic relationship satisfaction of dating emerging adults. The research results indicate a significant influence of romantic beliefs on relationship satisfaction in emerging adulthood/ Masa emerging adulthood merupakan masa yang vital untuk mengembangkan hubungan romantis. Penting bagi emerging adulthood untuk dapat memiliki hubungan yang berjalan dengan baik dan merasa puas dalam hubungan tersebut. Salah satu yang dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan hubungan adalah romantic beliefs. Romantic beliefs atau keyakinan romantis merupakan serangkaian keyakinan yang terdiri atas harapan dan ekspektasi individu terhadap suatu hubungan romantis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif non-eksperimental dengan menggunakan Romantic Beliefs Scale dan Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS). Subjek penelitian ini adalah emerging adulthood yang sedang berpacaran berusia 18-29 tahun sebanyak 153 orang, yang diperoleh menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan analisis regresi untuk melihat ada atau tidaknya pengaruh dari romantic beliefs terhadap kepuasan hubungan romantis emerging adulthood. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari romantic beliefs terhadap kepuasan hubungan berpacaran emerging adulthood.
