Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganilisis pengaruh Likuiditas dan Leverage terhadap Financial Distress dengan Cash Conversion Cycle sebagai variable mediasi sementara variable control adalah dari operating cash flow, profitabilitas, sales growth dan earning per share. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan rentang waktu 5 tahun dari tahun 2018 sampai 2022. Total populasi dari penelitian ini adalah 143 perusahaan dan sebanyak 66 perusahaan ditentukan sebagai sampel dengan menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling dianalisa dengan multiple regresi linear berganda. Data Perusahaan yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang didapatkan melalui website S&P Capital IQ dan diolah dengan menggunakan aplikasi STATA versi 16. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa likuiditas berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap financial distress sementara leverage tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial distress. Cash conversion cycle terbukti tidak mampu memoderasi hubungan likuditas dan leverage terhadap financial distress. / The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of Liquidity and Leverage on Financial Distress, using the Cash Conversion Cycle as a mediating variable, while the control variables are operating cash flow, profitability, sales growth, and earnings per share. This research was conducted on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange over a five-year period from 2018 to 2022. The total population for this study is 143 companies, with 66 companies selected as samples using purposive sampling techniques and analyzed with multiple linear regression. The company data utilized are secondary data obtained from the S&P Capital IQ website and processed using STATA version 16. The results of this study indicate that liquidity has a significant positive effect on financial distress, while leverage does not affect financial distress. The cash conversion cycle has been proven unable to moderate the relationship between liquidity and leverage on financial distress.
