Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi digital memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam bidang pendidikan. Teknologi digital menjadi bukti bahwa manusia menggunakan rasio dan kemampuan berpikir yang Tuhan berikan. Teknologi digital memberikan manfaat dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang efektif. Guru Kristen dipanggil untuk mencari yang hilang dan menuntun siswa untuk kembali kepada Kristus dan dipulihkan kepada gambar Allah. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peran guru Kristen sebagai gembala menuntun siswa dalam menggunakan teknologi di era digital Metode penulisan paper ini adalah kajian literatur. Penulis menggunakan literatur dari berbagai sumber tentang peran guru sebagai gembala di era digital. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui perannya sebagai gembala, guru Kristen harus menjadi teladan bagi para siswa. Guru Kristen sudah terlebih dahulu digembalakan oleh Kristus, sang Gembala Agung. Guru harus menolong siswa agar mengalami pertumbuhan, tidak ada hanya dalam aspek kognitif saja, melainkan pertumbuhan yang holistis. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa peran guru Kristen sebagai gembala di era digital ialah mengarahkan siswa agar tidak menyalahgunakan kemajuan teknologi di era digital ini. Penulis menyarankan kepada setiap guru Kristen untuk menjalankan perannya sebagai gembala di era digital sehingga guru harus lebih peka dalam memperhatikan siswa di kelas. / Advances in digital technology give significant impact on education. Digital technology is proof that humans use the ratio and thinking abilities that God has given. Digital technology provides benefits in the implementation of effective learning. Christian teachers are called to seek the lost and lead students to return to Christ and be restored to the image of God. This study aims to explain the role of Christian teachers as shepherds guiding students in using technology in the digital era. The method of writing this paper is a literature review. The author uses literature from many sources on the role of teachers as shepherds in the digital era. The results of this study show that through their role as shepherds, Christian teachers must be role models for students. Christian teachers have already been shepherded by Christ, the Great Shepherd. Teachers must help students to experience growth, not only in the cognitive aspect, but holistic growth. The author concludes that the role of Christian teachers as shepherds in the digital era is to direct students not to abuse technological advances in the digital era. The author suggests to every Christian teacher to carry out their role as shepherds in the digital era so that teachers must be more aware in paying attention to students in the classroom.
