Abstract

In Indonesia, the number of female workers in 2020 has increased from 34.65% to 36.20% in 2021. This shows that more and more women have multiple roles. There is a positive impact on a working mother, namely being able to support the family's economy by helping to meet the family's financial needs. Meanwhile, the negative impact of a working mother is that the mother is not always present at important times or when her family needs her. This also happens especially to working mothers who have pre-school age children. Mother's assistance is very necessary when children are in pre-school age (3-5 years) because this is the golden period for a child who needs the presence of a mother. This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting stress and parenting self-efficacy in working mothers who have pre-school age children in Jabodetabek. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method with a correlation research design. The subjects in this research were 100 working mothers who had pre-school age children in Jabodetabek. The data analysis technique used is the Pearson product moment correlation test with computer software applications. The correlation coefficient (r) value obtained in this study was -0.210. The results of this study show that there is a significant negative relationship between parenting stress and parenting self-efficacy in working mothers who have pre-school age children in Jabodetabek. / Di Indonesia jumlah tenaga kerja perempuan tahun 2020 mengalami kenaikan dari 34,65% menjadi 36,20% pada tahun 2021. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa semakin banyak wanita yang memiliki peran ganda. Terdapat dampak positif pada seorang ibu yang bekerja yaitu dapat mendukung ekonomi keluarga dengan cara ikut memenuhi kebutuhan finansial keluarga. Sedangkan dampak negatif dari seorang ibu yang bekerja adalah ibu tidak selalu hadir di saat-saat yang penting atau saat dibutuhkan keluarganya. Hal ini juga terjadi khususnya pada ibu bekerja yang memiliki anak usia pra-sekolah. Pendampingan Ibu sangat diperlukan ketika anak berada di usia pra sekolah (3-5 tahun) karena masa ini merupakan masa emas seorang anak yang memerlukan kehadiran seorang ibu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara parenting stress dengan parenting self-efficacy pada ibu bekerja yang mempunyai anak usia pra-sekolah di Jabodetabek. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu bekerja yang mempunyai anak usia pra-sekolah di Jabodetabek sebanyak 100 subjek. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi pearson product moment dengan aplikasi perangkat lunak komputer. Nilai koefisien korelasi (r) yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini adalah -0,210. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan yang bernilai negatif antara parenting stress dengan parenting self-efficacy pada ibu bekerja yang memiliki anak usia pra-sekolah di Jabodetabek.
