Abstract

Keaktifan belajar siswa merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran efektif. Keaktifan siswa di dalam kelas akan mendorong tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran yang telah direncanakan. Faktanya, di lapangan ditemukan sebagian siswa pasif selama proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan perilaku siswa tidak merespons pertanyaan dan instruksi guru dengan baik, berbincang-bincang dengan temannya, tidak mau mencari tahu atau bertanya, tidak antusias mengerjakan soal, serta tidak berdiskusi dalam kelompok. Adapun upaya untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa tersebut, yaitu melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan keaktifan siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw khususnya dalam pembelajaran Fisika di kelas XII IPA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, data bersumber dari pengalaman penulis saat melaksanakan Program Praktikum Praktik Lapangan (PPL) 2 yang dibahas secara deskriptif serta didukung teori-teori yang relevan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dapat mengupayakan keaktifan belajar siswa seperti bertanya, berpendapat dan mencari solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi. Penulis menyarankan agar lebih memperhatikan waktu pelaksanaan dan mengkaji lebih dalam hal-hal penting model pembelajaran ini guna memaksimalkan keaktifan siswa di kelas./Student learning activity is one of the efforts to realize effective learning. Student activity in the classroom will encourage the achievement of planned learning objectives. In fact, it is found in the field part passive students during the learning process. This is shown by the behavior of students not responding well to the teacher's questions and instructions, chatting with their friends, not wanting to find out or asking questions, not being enthusiastic about working on questions, and not discussing in group. The effort to increase student activity is through the application of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model. This research aims to overcome the problem of student activity by using the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model especially in learning Physics class XII IPA. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, data comes from the author's experience when implementing the Field Practicum Program (PPL) 2 which is discussed descriptively and supported by relevant theories. This research concludes that the application of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model can promote active student learning such as asking questions, giving opinions and finding solutions to the problems they face. The author suggests paying more attention to the implementation time and studying in more depth the important aspects of this learning model in order to maximize student activity in class.
