Abstract

Lara Githalia Arisantyka Silaban (01071200212) HUBUNGAN DERAJAT MEROKOK DENGAN PROTEINURIA PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE II DI RSU SILOAM LIPPO VILLAGE KARAWACI (xvi + 86 halaman; 5 gambar; 15 tabel; 6 lampiran) Latar Belakang. Diabetes melitus (DM) telah meningkat begitu pesat dan diperkirakan akan lebih meningkat pada tahun 2045 mendatang. Diabetes melitus adalah penyakit metabolik yang melibatkan adanya kenaikan kadar gula darah yang tidak wajar dan dapat menyebabkan komplikasi seperti diabetes nefropati. Diabetes nefropati adalah Diabetic Kidney Disease (DKD) yang ditandai dengan penurunan fungsi ginjal pada pasien DM kronis, komplikasi ini dapat disebabkan oleh banyak hal, beberapa faktor risikonya ialah obesitas, hiperlipidemia, dan memiliki kebiasaan merokok. Untuk mendeteksi DKD dapat dilihat dari adanya proteinuria pada pasien. Tujuan Penelitian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menemukan hubungan antara kebiasaan merokok dengan adanya proteinuria pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di RSU Siloam Lippo Village. Metodologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik komparatif kategorik tidak berpasangan dengan desain penelitian cross-sectional. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 86 pasien di RSUS LV dengan teknik purposive sampling dan data subjek diambil dari kuesioner secara luring. Uji statistik penelitian ini menggunakan chi-square dengan menggunakan SPSS 29. Hasil. Sebanyak 94 pasien DMT2 RSU SHLV berpartisipasi; 47 (50%) laki-laki dan 47 (50%) perempuan. Proteinuria ditemukan pada 22 (88%) pasien kategori perokok sedang dan berat dan 26 (37,7%) pasien kategori tidak merokok dan perokok ringan dengan OR=12,128; 95% CI = 3,303-44,539; P = <0,001. Kesimpulan. Adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara derajat merokok terhadap kejadian proteinuria. Kata Kunci. Diabetes mellitus (DM) has increased so rapidly and is expected to increase further in 2045. Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease that involves an abnormal increase in blood sugar levels and can lead to complications such as diabetic nephropathy. Diabetic nephropathy is a Diabetic Kidney Disease (DKD) which is characterized by decreased kidney function in patients with chronic DM, this complication can be caused by many things, some of the risk factors are obesity, hyperlipidemia, and smoking habits. The detection of DKD can be seen from the presence of proteinuria in patients. Research Objectives. The aim of this study was to find a relationship between smoking habits and the presence of proteinuria in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Siloam Hospital Lippo Village. Methodology. This study used an unpaired categorical comparative analytic method and the study design was cross-sectional. The subjects of this study were 86 patients at LV Hospital using a purposive sampling technique and the subject data was taken from an offline questionnaire. The statistical test of this study used chi-square using SPSS 29. Results. A total of 94 T2DM patients at SHLV Hospital participated; 47 (50%) male and 47 (50%) female. Proteinuria was found in 22 (88%) moderate and heavy smokers and 26 (37.7%) non-smokers and light smokers with OR=12.128; 95% CI = 3.303-44.539; P = <0.001. Conclusion. There is a significant relationship between smoking degrees and the incidence of proteinuria. Keywords. Smoking, Proteinuria, Type II Diabetes Mellitus.
