Abstract

The purpose of this research is to comprehend the health condition of a bank using financial ratio analysis by looking at the yearly financial statement during the year 2016-2018 using Return on Asset ratio (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit (LDR) and Non-performing Loan (NPL). This research is using qualitative reserach method with descriptive study, with secondary data collection tecnique from the financial statement of bank companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange period of 2012-2016. According to the result of financial ratio from 3 bank companies, the health condition of these 3 banks could still be categorized as healthy, and non in a very critical ondition. This was also caused by the growth of the economy in Indonesia and thus makes the operational activity in the bank companies working generally well. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi kesehatan bank melalui analisis rasio keuangan dengan melihat laporan keuangan tahunan selama tahun 2012-2016 menggunakan rasio Return on Asset (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit (LDR) dan Non-performing Loan (NPL). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi deksriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan meoggunakan metode sekunder dari laporan keuangan perusahaan perbankan dalam Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2012-2016. Berdasarkan basil rasio keuangan yang dilihat dari 3 perusabaan, kondisi kesehatan ketiga bank tersebut masih bisa terbilang sehat, dan tidak ada kondisi yang terlalu memprihatinkan. Hal ini juga dipicu karena meningkatnya perekonornian di Indonesia dan membuat kegiatan operasional perbankan dapat berjalan dengan baik
