Abstract

Sebagai makhluk sosial, berada dalam komunitas menjadi sesuatu yang esensial. Terlebih, bagi dewasa muda dalam rentang usia 18-40 tahun, atau yang termasuk dalam generasi x dan generasi z, hal tersebut merupakan salah satu tugas perkembangan mereka. Sayangnya terdapat risiko gangguan kesehatan mental bagi kedua generasi ini yang dapat mengganggu aktivitas mereka dalam berkomunitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada komunitas bernama COOL atau Community of Love, di GBI Grow Center Church Jakarta. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat adakah hubungan antara psychological well-being dengan sense of community pada dewasa muda dalam COOL. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan gabungan pendekatan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Partisipan yang diambil dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 77 orang. Hasilnya, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara psychological well-being dan sense of community dewasa muda pada COOL di GBI Grow Center Church Jakarta. Selain itu, tidak ada perbedaan antara jenis kelamin perempuan dan laki-laki dalam kaitannya dengan kedua variabel, begitu pun hubungan keduanya dengan usia. / As social beings, being part of a community is essential, especially for young adults in the age range of 18-40 years, belonging to either Generation X or Generation Z. It is considered one of their developmental tasks. Unfortunately, there is a risk of mental health disorders for both of these generations that can disrupt their community engagement. This research was conducted in a community called COOL or Community of Love, at GBI Grow Center Church in Jakarta. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between psychological well-being and a sense of community among young adults in COOL. The method used is quantitative, combining purposive sampling and snowball sampling approaches. The participants in this study were 77 individuals. The results show a significant relationship between psychological well-being and the sense of community among young adults in COOL at GBI Grow Center Church in Jakarta. Additionally, there is no difference between genders (male and female) in relation to both variables, and the same goes for their relationship with age.
