Abstract

Kesimpulan: Hubungan antara faktor klinikopatologi dan ekspresi ALK pada kanker paru sel kecil tidak menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan / Background: Lung cancer is a disease of uncontrolled growth of tissue in the lung tissue. In 2020, lung cancer causes 2,200,000 new cases and 1,800,000 deaths. In pathogenesis, the growth of lung cancer is influenced by various gene mutations, one of which is the ALK gene. If there is a rearrangement in ALK expression, it will cause oncogene proliferation of lung cancer cells. Expression of ALK gene is associated with clinicopathological factors to clarify the clinicopathological characteristics of lung cancer patients, who experience a rearrangement in ALK expression. Aim: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between clinicopathological factors and ALK expression in Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinoma at MRCCC Siloam Hospital, Semanggi. Methods: This study uses secondary data in the form of medical records from the MRCCC Siloam Semanggi Hospital from 2020 to 2022. The data will then be analysed bivariate using the Chi Square test using SPSS version 26.0. Result: The gender of most patients was male, with a total of 79 people (63.2%). There were 48 patients aged <60 years (38.4%). The tumour location in most patients was in the right lung with a total of 70 people (56%). The most common tumour morphology was adenocarcinoma in 96 people (76.8%). After examining ALK expression, 117 people (93.6%) showed negative results while 8 people (6.4%) showed positive results. Conclusion: The relationship between clinicopathological factors and ALK expression in small cell lung cancer did not show significant results
