Abstract

Kebun Raya Bogor merupakan destinasi wisata serta taman botani yang dijadikan tempat rekreasi dan tempat konservasi untuk beberapa tanaman yang dapat ditemukan di Indonesia dan mancanegara. Dengan luas wilayah yang cukup besar, salah satu cara pengunjung bernavigasi ketika berada di kawasan Kebun Raya Bogor adalah dengan menggunakan signage yang disediakan. Namun, signage yang terdapat di Kebun Raya Bogor belum dapat membantu pengunjung bernavigasi dengan maksimal. Sistem signage di Kebun Raya Bogor, setelah dilakukan observasi, ternyata belum memiliki konsistensi yang terjaga serta cara komunikasi yang baik terhadap informasi yang ingin dikomunikasikan. Hal ini menyebabkan citra dan identitas visual dari Kebun Raya Bogor tidak dapat terlihat pada sistem signage yang ada. / Kebun Raya Bogor is a tourism destination and botanical garden that serves as a recreational and conservational site for some plants from Indonesia and other countries. With its adequate size, visitors can navigate inside the area using provided signages. However, some of those signages are not helpful enough. Through observation, it is found that the signage system of Kebun Raya Bogor is inconsistent and not communicative. This could cause the image and visual identity of Kebun Raya Bogor not represented by the signage system very well.
