Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi yang ditandai dengan berbagai inovasi dan terobosan dalam berbagai bidang, ditujukan untuk memudahkan manusia dalam menjalankan kehidupan. Teknologi kini telah berevolusi dan menghadirkan sebuah inovasi baru yaitu kecerdasan buatan atau yang disebut juga sebagai artificial intelligence. Salah satu penerapannya dapat dilihat dari pemograman televisi TV One yaitu TV One AI yang menjadi media pertama di Indonesia yang disupport oleh kecerdasan buatan.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan paradigma konstruktivis dan metode deskriptif. Untuk mendapatkan data, wawancara mendalam dengan teknik semi structured interview dan studi kepustakaan akan dilakukan. Dalam menentukan narasumber, penelitian ini akan mengambil sampel purposif dengan satuan unit analisis individu yaitu informan dan informan kunci. Untuk itu, wawancara akan dilakukan dengan para individu yang merupakan penonton/audiens dari TV One AI.Setelah melalui seluruh proses penelitian, ditemukan bahwa dari ketiga posisi penerimaan yang dikemukakan oleh Hall, terdapat dua posisi individu dalam menanggapi penggunaan news presenter AI TV One yaitu dominant hegemonic position dan negotiated position sedangkan tidak ada yang berada di oppositional position. Kedua posisi ini menunjukkan bahwa news presenter AI TV One dapat diterima oleh masyarakat Indonesia akan tetapi mereka tetap akan memperhitungkan sisi negatif yang mungkin akan menjadi sebuah ancaman. Untuk itu, pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan di Indonesia dapat dilakukan secara bertahap dari satu bidang ke bidang lainnya sebagai bentuk tanda pengenalan hadirnya kecerdasan buatan di Indonesia. / Technological advances are marked by various innovations and breakthroughs in many fields, aimed at improving human quality of lives. Technology has now evolved and presented a new innovation, artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence usage can be seen from TV One's television programming, namely TV One AI, which is the first media in Indonesia to be powered by artificial intelligence. This research uses a qualitative approach with a constructivist paradigm and descriptive methods. To obtain data, in-depth interviews using semi-structured interview techniques and literature study will be conducted. In determining sources, this research will take a purposive sample with individual units of analysis, namely informants and key informants. For this reason, interviews will be conducted with individuals who are viewers/audience of TV One AI. After going through the entire research process, it was found that of the three types of positions proposed by Hall, there were two individual positions in responding to the use of AI TV One news presenters, namely the dominant hegemonic position and the negotiated position, while none were in the oppositional position. These two positions show that the AI TV One news presenter can be accepted by the Indonesian public, but they will still take into account the negative side that might become a threat. For this reason, the use of artificial intelligence in Indonesia can be done gradually from one field to another as a form of recognition of the presence of AI in Indonesia.
