Abstract

Studi penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) terhadap kinerja keuangan suatu perusahaan. Dalam penelitian ini, hasil data berjumlah sebesar 213 sampel data observasi yang diperoleh dengan metode purposive sampling dari situs BGK Foundation. Populasi dalam studi penelitian ini berasal dari perusahaan yang tercantum di BGK Foundation selama periode pengamatan 2018-2021. Sampel yang dikumpulkan merupakan data sekunder dari BGK Foundation dan S&P Global Capital IQ. Studi penelitian ini menggunakan model spesifikasi yang berbentuk model regresi linear dengan aplikasi program SPSS ver 25. Dengan menggunakan analisis model regresi berganda linier, hasil dari studi ini memberikan pembuktian empiris mengenai pengaruh Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Implikasi dari temuan ini dapat memberikan panduan bagi pemangku kepentingan dalam mengoptimalkan strategi keberlanjutan. Selain itu, temuan ini dapat membantu manajemen perusahaan untuk memahami secara lebih baik pengaruh faktor pengungkapan skor ESG sehingga dapat merancang kebijakan yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan kinerja keuangan perusahaan./This research study aims to analyze the impact of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors on the financial performance of a company. The research utilized a dataset comprising 213 observational samples obtained through purposive sampling from the BGK Foundation website. The study population consisted of companies listed on the BGK Foundation during the observation period from 2018 to 2021. The collected samples were secondary data from the BGK Foundation and S&P Global Capital IQ. The research employed a linear regression model specification using the SPSS version 25 program. Through multiple linear regression model analysis, this study empirically demonstrates the influence of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors on company financial performance. The implications of these findings can serve as a guide for stakeholders in optimizing sustainability strategies. Additionally, this research can assist company management in gaining a better understanding of the impact of ESG disclosure scores, enabling them to formulate more effective policies to enhance financial performance.
