Abstract

Pembangunan Internasional dalam studi Hubungan Internasional dapat dibilang sebuah isu yang masih cukup baru karena baru mendapat perhatian lebih banyak sejak runtuhnya Tembok Berlin pada 1989. Sejak saat itu, konsep pembangunan merambat ke ranah internasional, di mana negara yang sudah maju membantu mengembangkan negara berkembang. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman yang semakin modern, bidang yang dikerjakan oleh Pembangunan Internasional juga meluas, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan. Hal ini karena pendidikan menjadi salah satu faktor utama dalam mengukur perkembangan suatu negara menurut Human Development Index atau HDI dan didukung dengan pemikiran dari Amartya Sen mengenai Development as Freedom. Melalui kedua hal ini, kerja sama antara Indonesia dan Polandia khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan juga dapat diukur dan dilihat melalui Perspektif Pembangunan Internasional. Metode kualitatif yang digunakan untuk riset ini juga membantu dalam pengumpulan data yang pada suatu saat nanti dapat digunakan oleh Indonesia untuk tidak hanya mengembangkan pendidikan mereka, tetapi juga mengelola infrastruktur sesuai dengan kerja sama mereka dengan Polandia sebagai negara Eropa yang ramah untuk pelajar. Kerja sama Indonesia dan Polandia sendiri menunjukkan betapa pentingnya Pembangunan Internasional sebagai subjek karena melalui kerja sama ini, hubungan bilateral negara tersebut menjadi lebih baik dan erat karena dapat membangun dan mengembangkan bidang pendidikan. Indonesia dapat mempelajari bagaimana Polandia dapat melaksanakan pendidikan mereka dan Polandia dapat memperkenalkan dirinya ke masyarakat yang lebih luas. Meski begitu, masih banyak data yang dapat dibenahi dan ditambahkan supaya kerja sama antara Indonesia dan Polandia semakin komprehensif./International Development in the study of International Relations is relatively new because International Development itself has only received more attention since the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Since then, the concept of development has spread to the international realm, where developed countries will help develop developing countries. With increasingly modern developments, International Development field of work has also expanded, especially in the context of education. This is because education is one of the main factors in measuring a country's development according to the Human Development Index or HDI and is also supported by Amartya Sen's Development as Freedom. Through this, cooperation between Indonesia and Poland, especially in the field of education, can also be measured and seen from an International Development Perspective. The qualitative method used for this research also helps in collecting data which, in the future, can be used by Indonesia to not only develop their education, but also manage infrastructure in accordance with their collaboration with Poland as a student-friendly European country. The cooperation between Indonesia and Poland itself shows how important International Development is as a subject because through this cooperation, the countries' bilateral relations will become better and closer because they can build and develop the education sector. Indonesia can learn how Poland carry out their education and Poland has the chance to get more exposure. Even so, there is still a lot of data that can be improved and added so that cooperation between Indonesia and Poland is more comprehensive.
