Abstract

Festival musik di Indonesia setelah pandemi Covid-19, kembali ramai dihadiri oleh masyarakat. Salah satunya adalah Synchronize Festival yang merupakan festival musik nasional tahunan dan dilaksanakan selama 3 hari. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji penerapan proses komunikasi internal dan eksternal dalam pengelolaan acara pada Synchronize Festival 2023. Fokus penelitian terutama diletakkan pada proses komunikasi internal dan eksternal yang dilakukan oleh penyelenggara. Dengan tema "Bhinneka Tunggal Musik," festival ini memadukan elemen lokalitas dan keberagaman musik Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan data primer, yaitu wawancara dan observasi serta data sekunder berupa studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada Direktur Komunikasi Synchronize, media musik, musisi, dan audiens Synchronize Festival. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Synchronize Festival berhasil melakukan pengelolaan acara dengan menerapkan komunikasi internal melalui evaluasi untuk mempercepat pengambilan keputusan. Sedangkan, komunikasi eksternal dilakukan dengan kerjasama berbagai pihak yang dapat membantu pengunjung untuk mencapai lokasi acara tanpa mencemari lingkungan melalui Kerjasama dengan PT Transjakarta dan komunitas sepeda. / Music festivals in Indonesia after the Covid-19 pandemic are once again busy with public attendance. One of them is the Synchronize Festival which is an annual national music festival and is held for 3 days. This research will examine the application of internal and external communication processes in event management at the Synchronize Festival 2023. The research focus is mainly placed on the internal and external communication processes carried out by the organizers. With the theme "Unity in Music," this festival combines elements of locality and diversity of Indonesian music. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods. Research data collection was carried out using primary data, namely interviews and observations as well as secondary data in the form of literature studies and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the Synchronize Communications Director, music media, musicians and the Synchronize Festival audience. The research results show that Synchronize Festival succeeded in managing the event by implementing internal communication through evaluation to speed up decision making. Meanwhile, external communication is carried out in collaboration with various parties who can help visitors to reach the event location without polluting the environment through collaboration with PT Transjakarta and the bicycle community.
