Abstract

Pertumbuhan Teknologi Informasi di dunia sudah semakin berkembang pesat seiring dengan kebutuhan informasi masyarakat yang semakin meningkat. Dalam bidang keagaamaan, terutama untuk Gereja Katolik, teknologi informasi sangat dibutuhkan guna mempermudah pihak gereja sendiri sebagai wadah pengembangan rohani umat untuk memberikan pelayanan yang maksimal kepada umat di wilayah parokinya. Gereja Katolik Paroki Santo Mikael Surabaya berdiri sejak tahun 1947 dengan total umat 899 orang. Pendataan umat di gereja ini belum efektif dan efisien. Selain itu terdapat kendala dalam penyampaian informasi kepada umat. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan suatu sistem yang dapat mencatat, dan memberikan informasi data yang akurat berbasis website sehingga sistem pendataan umat dapat menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Selain itu, penyampaian informasi kepada umat juga dapat menjadi lebih informatif. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan sistem berbasis website yang telah dilakukan, gereja dapat dimudahkan dalam melakukan pendataan umat dan memberikan informasi kepada umat berupa data statistik (misal: perbandingan jenis kelamin, perbandingan jumlah golongan darah, jumlah umat per-lingkungan, dan perbandingan jumlah peran umat di dalam gereja), agenda kegiatan gereja, dan renungan. / The growth of information technology in the world is growing rapidly along with the needs of the information in society which is increasing. In the religion�field, especially for the Catholic Church, information technology is needed urgently to enable the church itself as a forum for developing the parish to provide maximum services to the people in the parish. Saint Mikael Church in Surabaya build in 1947 with 899 congregations. This church still using the ways that arguably has not been effective and efficient in collecting data and information to the people of the congregations. Furthermore the church have a problem for giving some data information to the people. Therefore need to be developed some system that can be do some data collention, and give data information based on website, so that the data collection system will give the people more effective and efficient. In addition, the delivery of information to the people can be more informatively. Based on website development system result which has been done, church can be easily conduct data collection and giving people a statistics information such as gender data comparison, blood type data comparison, total people at each region, and role people of church data comparison. Also giving people an information like church schedule activity, and daily bread.
