Abstract

Buku ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kemudahan kepada mahasiswa jurusan perhotelan yang memiliki spesialisasi di bidang Front Office dalam memahami istilah-istilah yang berkaitan dengan fungsi departemen mereka. Dengan demikian, buku ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan yang komprehensif dan praktis bagi para mahasiswa, memperkuat pemahaman mereka terhadap berbagai konsep Front Office. Proses penulisan buku ini dimulai dari tahap perencanaan konsep ide, yang di mana melakukan merinci tujuan dan fokus utama buku. Selanjutnya, dilakukan penjadwalan untuk memastikan proyek berjalan sesuai dengan rencana. Pengumpulan data menjadi langkah penting dalam menjamin keakuratan dan ketepatan informasi yang disajikan dalam buku. Metode penulisan ini juga melibatkan pembuatan layout buku yang disesuaikan agar dapat memberikan pengalaman membaca yang optimal bagi para pembaca. Setelah tahap pengumpulan data, dilakukan proses editing untuk memastikan kejelasan dan konsistensi bahasa dan Tahap ini juga memperhatikan aspek tata bahasa dan struktur kalimat guna memperbaiki potensi kekurangan. Akhirnya, buku ini mencapai tahap pencetakan untuk dipublikasikan dan didistribusikan kepada mahasiswa. Hasil penulisan buku ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pembelajaran Terminologi Front Office bagi mahasiswa perhotelan. Buku ini dirancang untuk menjadi sumber informasi terpercaya yang dapat membantu mahasiswa memahami dan mengartikan berbagai istilah yang sering digunakan dalam operasional Front Office. Selain itu, buku ini berkomitmen untuk memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran dengan menyajikan materi-materi Front Office secara sistematis dan mudah dipahami. Penggunaan bahasa yang jelas diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya serap mahasiswa terhadap informasi. Dengan upaya ini, diharapkan buku dapat menjadi alat bantu yang efektif bagi mahasiswa untuk meraih pemahaman mendalam tentang istilah-istilah Front Office dan mempersiapkan mereka dengan baik untuk karir di industri perhotelan. / This book aims to make it easier for students majoring in hospitality who specialize in the Front Office field in understanding terms related to the function of their department. Thus, it is hoped that this book will be a comprehensive and practical guide for students, strengthening their understanding of various Front Office concepts. The process of writing this book starts from the idea concept planning stage, which details the main goals and focus of the book. Next, scheduling is carried out to ensure the project runs according to plan. Data collection is an important step in ensuring the accuracy and accuracy of the information presented in the book. This writing method also involves creating a customized book layout to provide an optimal reading experience for readers. After the data collection stage, an editing process is carried out to ensure clarity and consistency of language and this stage also pays attention to aspects of grammar and sentence structure in order to correct potential deficiencies. Finally, this book reached the printing stage to be published and distributed to students. It is hoped that the results of writing this book can make a significant contribution to Front Office Terminology learning for hospitality students. This book is designed to be a reliable source of information that can help students understand and interpret various terms frequently used in Front Office operational. Apart from that, this book is committed to facilitating the learning process by presenting Front Office materials in a systematic and easy to understand manner. The use of clear language is expected to increase students' absorption of information. With these efforts, it is hoped that the book can be an effective tool for students to gain an in-depth understanding of Front Office terms and prepare them well for careers in the hotel industry.
