Abstract

Salah satu bisnis yang mulai banyak ditemukan di media sosial merupakan jasa sewa pacar. Jasa sewa pacar merupakan jasa yang membuka layanan pacar sementara, di mana layanan yang disediakan merupakan kencan secara luring maupun daring. Jasa sewa pacar dapat membantu manusia dalam memenuhi kebutuhan mereka dalam berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi dengan orang lain sebagai makhluk sosial. Dalam melakukan komunikasi interpersonal dengan lawan bicara, pembukaan diri merupakan sebuah langkah awal yang cukup penting dan tidak bisa kita abaikan. Namun, terdapat pula individu yang enggan dalam membuka diri mereka kepada individu lainnya. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti akan menguraikan bagaimana para talent jasa sewa pacar berkomunikasi kepada klien. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data akan dilakukan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan informan kunci, kajian pustaka, situs website, buku dan jurnal. Penelitian ini akan ditinjau menggunakan Teori Penetrasi Sosial yang digagas oleh Irwin Altman dan Dalmas A. Taylor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa talent jasa sewa pacar tidak begitu melakukan self disclosure kepada klien. Terdapat topik yang tidak dapat talent komunikasikan kepada klien. Hubungan yang ingin dibangun oleh talent dengan klien mereka pun sebatas hubungan profesional./One business that is increasingly found on social media is the service of renting a boyfriend or girlfriend. Renting a boyfriend or girlfriend is a service that offers temporary companionship or relationship, providing both in-person and online dating services. That service can assist individuals in fulfilling their need to communicate and interact with others as social beings. In interpersonal communication with clients, self disclosure is a crucial initial step that cannot be overlooked. But, there are some people who are not very open. In this study, the researcher will elaborate on how the talents communicate with clients. This research is qualitative. Data collection will be conducted through semi-structured interviews with key informants, literature review, website analysis, books, and journals. The study will be examined using the Social Penetration Theory proposed by Irwin Altman and Dalmas A. Taylor. The results of this research indicate that talents in love partner rental service do not extensively engage in self disclosure to clients. There are topics that talents cannot communicate to clients. The relationship that talents aim to establish with their clients is limited to a professional relationship.
