Abstract

Air dan pariwisata saling terkait sebagai sumber daya dan daya tarik. Air merupakan sumber daya yang memiliki potensi kuat untuk menarik wisatawan. Bangunan hotel khususnya kategori bintang empat dan lima merupakan pengguna energi dan air yang cukup besar. Oleh karena itu, kesadaran dan pengetahuan mengenai pengelolaan air serta permasalahan kelangkaan air sangat penting untuk diketahui dan ditingkatkan sejak dini sehingga dapat membantu memajukan pariwisata berkelanjutan di Indonesia. Pada Program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini, peneliti ingin fokus pada peningkatan kesadaran beberapa penyedia akomodasi di hotel, Hotel Maya Sanur. Melalui program ini kami ingin fokus untuk meningkatkan kesadaran mereka mengenai pengelolaan air dan isu kelangkaan air. Pengetahuan dan data yang diberikan kepada mereka bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi yang dapat diandalkan dan membantu mereka menerapkan sistem pariwisata berkelanjutan di hotel mereka, khususnya di sektor pengelolaan air./ Water and tourism are linked as a resource and an attraction. Water represents a resource with strong potential to attract tourists. Hotel buildings especially in the four and five-star category are substantial users of energy and water. Therefore, awareness and knowledge of water management and the issue of water scarcity is vital to be known and improved early on so that it can help advance sustainable tourism in Indonesia. In this Community Service Program, researchers want to focus on raising the awareness of some accommodation providers in a specific hotel, Maya Sanur Hotel. With this program we want to focus on raising their awareness on water management and the issue of water scarcity. The knowledge and data provided to them are aimed to give them reliable information and to help them apply a sustainable tourism system to their hotel, especially in the water management sector.
