Abstract

Dusun Tabag Gunung merupakan sebuah dusun yang terletak di Desa Brongkol, Kecamatan Jambu, Kabupaten Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Dusun Tabag Gunung berlokasi di Gunung Kelir, sebuah gunung kecil di sebelah utara Gunung Telomoyo. Berlokasi di pegunungan yang strategis, membuat Dusun Tabag Gunung disebut sebagai dusun yang sejahtera karena memiliki kebun di lereng gunung serta memiliki ladang yang subur dan luas di kaki gunung. Dusun Tabag Gunung, Desa Brongkol memiliki kurang lebih 50.000 pohon durian dengan luas kebun 200 hektar yang dapat menghasilkan 8 ton buah durian. Mayoritas masyarakat Desa Brongkol memiliki kebun durian dan bermata pencarian sebagai petani durian, namun belum ada program pengolahan limbah buah durian secara langsung. Memanfaatkan limbah biji durian sebagai bahan utama untuk pembuatan produk tepung biji durian yang kemudian dapat diolah lagi menjadi produk olahan makanan merupakan hal yang bermanfaat untuk membantu perekonomian Dusun Tabag Gunung, Desa Brongkol. Pengenalan dan pelatihan merupakan langkah awal yang penting dalam pembuatan suatu produk. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Dusun Tabag Gunung, Desa Brongkol adalah belum adanya pemanfaatan limbah biji durian, sehingga solusi yang dapat diberikan adalah memberikan pelatihan pengolahan limbah biji durian menjadi produk olahan tepung biji durian yang kemudian akan diolah menjadi produk olahan makanan berupa peanut butter cookies dan chocolate cheese cookies yang diharapkan akan bermanfaat untuk mengembangkan ekonomi kreatif masyarakat Dusun Tabag Gunung. Kata Kunci : Biji Durian, Pengabdian Masyarakat, Tepung Biji Durian, Peanut Butter Cookies, Chocolate Cheese Cookies / Tabag Gunung Hamlet is a hamlet located in Brongkol Village, Jambu District, Semarang Regency, Central Java. Tabag Gunung Hamlet is located on Mount Kelir, a small mountain to the north of Mount Telomoyo. Located in the strategic mountains, Tabag Gunung Hamlet is called a prosperous hamlet because it has gardens on the slopes of the mountain and has fertile and spacious fields at the foot of the mountain. Tabag Gunung Hamlet, Brongkol Village has approximately 50,000 durian trees with a garden area of 200 hectares which can produce 8 tonnes of durian fruit. The majority of the people of Brongkol Village have durian gardens and make a living as durian farmers, but there is no direct durian fruit waste processing program. Utilizing durian seed waste as the main ingredient for making durian seed flour products which can then be processed again into processed food products is a useful thing to help the economy of Tabag Gunung Hamlet, Brongkol Village. Introduction and training are important first steps in making a product. The problem faced by Tabag Gunung Hamlet, Brongkol Village is that there is no use of durian seed waste, so the solution that can be given is to provide training in processing durian seed waste into processed durian seed flour products which will then be processed into processed food products in the form of peanut butter cookies and chocolate cheese cookies which are expected to be useful for developing the creative economy of the people of Tabag Gunung Hamlet.
