Abstract

Pelatihan produksi praline di SMK 7 Kabupaten Tangerang merupakan kerjasama Fakultas Pariwisata Universitas Pelita Harapan dengan pihak sekolah. Cokelat, produk yang banyak digemari di Indonesia, khususnya praline, memiliki makna seni dan kuliner. Transformasi kurikulum, khususnya Kurikulum 2013 (K-13), menekankan pembelajaran berbasis keterampilan pada sekolah kejuruan. Pengetahuan teoritis dan praktis dalam produksi coklat, aspek kesehatan, kreativitas, dan persiapan industri. Kurikulum bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan artistik, pengalaman kewirausahaan, dan apresiasi kuliner. Menyadari kesenjangan dalam pelatihan praktis, inisiatif ini menjawab kebutuhan akan pengalaman membuat coklat secara langsung. Solusinya melibatkan program pengabdian masyarakat, menggabungkan teori, praktik langsung, dan umpan balik. Umpan balik tersebut menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi di antara para peserta, yang menekankan efektivitas pelatihan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan praktis mereka dalam produksi praline. Keberhasilan inisiatif ini menggarisbawahi potensi kolaborasi di masa depan dan perbaikan berkelanjutan dalam pendidikan kejuruan.
