Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan kegiatan pengamalan ilmu pengetahuan kepada masyarakat guna untuk menambah wawasan dan keterampilan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan bertujuan: (1) memberi pelatihan mengenai teknik pembuatan masakan lada hitam dan biji pepaya (2) menambah wawasan akan varian masakan lada hitam dan biji pepaya (3) menyelesaikan penulisan proyek tugas akhir sebagai syarat kelulusan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan PkM ini telah dilaksanakan dengan lancar, namun terdapat kendala akibat ketidaksengajaan baik dari panitia maupun peserta. Selain itu juga, post test menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi ini berdampak pada meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta terhadap penggunaan biji pepaya yang dapat menggantikan lada hitam. / Community service is an activity of applying knowledge to the community in order to increase insight and skills. The community service activities carried out aim at: (1) providing training on techniques for making black pepper and papaya seed dishes (2) increasing knowledge about black pepper and papaya seed cooking variants (3) completing the writing of the final project project as a graduation requirement. The research results showed that this PkM activity had been carried out smoothly, but there were obstacles due to accidents by both the committee and participants. Apart from that, the post test showed that this socialization had an impact on increasing participants' knowledge of the use of papaya seeds which can replace black pepper.
