Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan suatu proses pemberian isyarat berdasarkan aturan-aturan tertentu dengan tujuan agar suatu sistem dibentuk, dipelihara, dan diubah. Setiap hari manusia pasti berkomunikasi, berinteraksi dengan manusia lainnya. Dalam dunia penerbangan, komunikasi sangatlah penting. Komunikasi merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam mewujudkan keselamatan penerbangan. Dengan adanya komunikasi yang jelas dan jelas akan memberikan kemudahan dalam memahami pekerjaan, termasuk dalam hal ini bidang penerbangan. Otoritas Bandar Udara adalah lembaga pemerintah yang ditunjuk oleh Menteri dan mempunyai kewenangan melaksanakan dan mengawasi pemenuhan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan untuk menjamin keselamatan, keamanan, dan pelayanan penerbangan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan menggunakan data primer yaitu wawancara dan observasi non partisipan, serta data sekunder berupa studi literatur dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada audiensi Pilot dan Co-pilot Batik Air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal dan pengambilan keputusan merupakan elemen krusial dalam keselamatan dan kelancaran misi penerbangan, khususnya di Batik Air. Kemudian komunikasi interpersonal antara pilot dan co-pilot mempunyai dampak terhadap suasana kerja, pengambilan keputusan, dan manajemen stres. Selain itu, pengambilan keputusan yang efektif didasarkan pada pendekatan sistematis seperti FORDEC, evaluasi risiko menyeluruh, komunikasi efektif, serta pendidikan dan pengalaman yang solid. / Communication is a process of giving signals based on certain rules with the aim that a system is formed, maintained and changed. Every day humans communicate and interact with other humans. In the world of aviation, communication is very important. Communication is very important in realizing aviation safety. Having clear and clear communication will make it easier to understand work, including in this case the aviation sector. The Airport Authority is a government agency appointed by the Minister and has the authority to implement and supervise the fulfillment of statutory provisions to ensure safety, security and aviation services. The research approach used is a qualitative approach, using descriptive methods. Research data collection was carried out using primary data, namely interviews and non-participant observation, as well as secondary data in the form of literature studies and documentation. The interview was conducted with an audience of Batik Air Pilots and Co-pilots. The research results show that interpersonal communication and decision making are crucial elements in the safety and smooth running of flight missions, especially at Batik Air. Then interpersonal communication between the pilot and co-pilot has an impact on the work atmosphere, decision making and stress management. Additionally, effective decision making is based on a systematic approach such as FORDEC, thorough risk evaluation, effective communication, and solid education and experience.
