Abstract

Dalam industri manufaktur modern, efisensi dan akurat menjadi faktor kunci. Salah satu aspek yang krusial adalah penyortiran, seperti sortir baut. Baut merupakan suatu komponen mekanis yang digunakan untuk menghubungkan atau memasangkan dua atau lebih objek bersama-sama. Mengingat ukurannya yang kecil dan ukuran panjang yang beragam, menyortir baut menjadi salah satu kegiatan yang membutuhkan ketelitian tinggi. Dengan ini, maka waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyortir baut cukup lama. Selain waktu, terdapat pula human error akibat tingkat ketelitian yang dibutuhkan. Maka dari itu, dirancanglah sebuah mesin sortir baut yang dikendalikan oleh PLC SIMATIC S7-1200. Selain PLC, digunakan pula web camera sebagai vision sensor yang akan mendefinisikan panjang baut dengan menggunakan bahasa pemograman python. Untuk menghubungkan vision sensor dengan PLC, maka diperlukan modbus TCP/IP. Selain merancang program, dirancang pula rancangan mekanisme sortir baut. Mesin ini terdiri dari 4 bagian mekanisme. Pertama merupakan bagian penampung baut, dimana mengadopsi mekansme step feeder. Kemudian terdapat conveyor yang berfungsi untuk menggantung baut agar mudah teridetifikasi. Bagian selanjutnya, terdapat web camera yang akan mengidentifikasi panjang baut. Dan terakhir terdapat stepper motor yang berguna untuk memisahkan baut sesuai dengan panjang yang telah dibaca oleh sensor. Berdasarkan data analisis yang telah diambil, mesin sortir baut M3 dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif yang efisien. Secara manual, rata-rata waktu penyortiran baut sekitar 6 menit dengan tingkat akurasi 99%. Sedangkan, dengan menggunakan sistem otomatisasi, rata-rata waktu penyortiran baut sekitar 3 menit dengan tingkat akurasi 96%. Walau tingkat akurasi secara manual lebih tinggi dibandingkan otomatisasi, mengingat hasil control chart yang menyatakan bahwa secara otomasi lebih terkontrol, maka mesin sortir ini dapat menjadi opsi yang baik dalam menghemat waktu dan kesehatan. / In the modern manufacturing industry, efficiency and accuracy are key factors. One crucial aspect is sorting, such as bolt sorting. A bolt is a mechanical component that is used to connect or attach two or more objects together. Considering its small size and various lengths, sorting bolts is an activity that requires high precision. With this, the time needed to sort the bolts is quite long. Apart from time, there is also human error due to the level of accuracy required. Therefore, a bolt sorting machine was designed which was controlled by a PLC SIMATIC S7-1200. Apart from the PLC, a web camera is also used as a vision sensor which will determine the length of the bolt using the Python programming language. To connect the vision sensor to the PLC, a Modbus TCP/IP is required. Apart from designing the program, a design for the bolt sorting mechanism was also designed. This machine consists of 4 mechanism parts. The first is the bolt holder section, which adopts a step feeder mechanism. Then there is a conveyor which functions to hang the bolts so they are easily identified. The next part, there is a web camera that will identify the length of the bolt. And finally there is a stepper motor which is useful for separating bolts according to the length that has been read by the sensor. Based on the analysis data that has been taken, the M3 bolt sorting machine can be an efficient alternative. Manually, the average bolt sorting time is around 6 minutes with an accuracy rate of 99%. Meanwhile, by using an automation system, the average bolt sorting time is around 3 minutes with an accuracy rate of 96%. Even though the level of accuracy manually is higher than automation, considering the results of the control chart which states that automation is more controlled, this sorting machine can be a good option for saving time and health.
