Abstract

Perkembangan globalisasi pada era ini merupakan fenomena yang dialami seluruh kalangan, tak terkecuali para pelaku Hubungan Internasional. Diplomasi tidak hanya dilakukan oleh pihak-pihak resmi yang memiliki kursi di pemerintahan saja. Bidang yang digelutipun semakin bervariasi, salah satunya adalah diplomasi olahraga. Sifat alami sportivitas yang menjadi inti dari olahraga membuat kerja sama antarnegara dalam koridor olahraga menjadi lebih cair dan erat. Di Indonesia, perkembangan prestasi bola basket putri di kancah internasional belakangan ini merupakan suatu hal yang perlu diapresiasi. Srikandi Cup hadir sebagai liga bola basket putri tertinggi sebagai wadah talenta-talenta tersebut untuk berkompetisi. Tahun 2018, Srikandi Cup menginisiasi kerja sama dengan perusahaan asing asal Australia, Live Graphic Systems (LIGR), untuk memberi pengalaman yang lebih baik bagi penonton untuk menyaksikan seluruh pertandingan yang ada secara live dengan desain grafis yang menarik melalui siaran streaming via kanal YouTube. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk menjelaskan proses kerja sama ini dapat berlangsung dan berbagai dampak yang dihasilkan dari kerja sama tersebut. Data yang disajikan seluruhnya merupakan data primer melalui wawancara langsung dengan narasumber yang menginisiasi kerja sama tersebut, didukung dengan berbagai data yang menggambarkan dampak kerja sama yang telah terjalin. Kemudian, teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis deskriptif dan eksplanatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, terlibatnya LIGR Australia dalam Srikandi Cup terbukti memberi kontribusi positif bagi perkembangan diplomasi olahraga Indonesia dan juga bagi penyelenggaraan Srikandi Cup sendiri, yakni pemajanan bola basket putri Indonesia. / The development of globalization in this era is a phenomenon experienced by all people, including the actors of International Relations. Diplomacy is not only carried out by official parties who have seats in the government. The involved areas are increasingly varied, one of them is sports diplomacy. The nature of sportsmanship, which is the core of sports makes cooperation between countries in the corridor of sports better and tighter. In Indonesia, the development of women’s basketball achievements in the international competition lately needs to be appreciated. Srikandi Cup is held as women’s basketball league, a place for all the talents to compete at the highest level. In 2018, Srikandi Cup initiated a partnership with a foreign company from Australia, Live Graphic Systems (LIGR), to provide a better experience for the viewers to watch all the matches with an interesting graphic design by livestreaming via YouTube channel. This research is using qualitative method to describe the process of this collaboration. Data provided in this research is entirely primary data through interview with the person who directly initiated the collaboration, supported by various data that illustrate the impacts of the cooperation. In addition, technique to analyze data are descriptive and explanative. According to the result of the research, it can be seen that the involvement of LIGR Australia in Srikandi Cup brings positive contribution to the development of Indonesia sports diplomacy and also to the implementation of the Srikandi Cup itself, which is the exposure of Indonesian women's basketball.
