Abstract

PT X tengah menghadapi permasalahan kualitas yang terjadi pada proses penyatuan material karena ditemukan material cacat (defect) yang masa pakainya telah kedaluarsa, atau telah melewati standar pemakaian dalam batas waktu yang telah ditentukan, yaitu selama 3 hari, dengan jumlah sebanyak rata-rata 704 unit perbulan dari Mei 2022 sampai dengan Mei 2023. Oleh karena itu hal tersebut perlu untuk diteliti dengan menggunakan metode QCC (Quality Control Circle) dimana metode ini dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan beberapa karyawan untuk membahas masalah yang dihadapi dan mencari solusi agar kualitas produk yang dihasilkan PT X dapat tetap terjaga. Agar kualitas produk yang dihasilkan PT X dapat tetap terjaga. Metode ini diawali dengan menentukan tema terlebih dahulu dengan mengamati data kualitas produk hingga didapatkan tema menurunkan defect kedaluarsa pada produk mother roll rubber sheet. Langkah selanjutnya yaitu menetapkan target dengan melihat pencapaian terbaik yaitu hanya 18 kali temuan material kedaluarsa karena tidak FIFO & FEFO, yang berada di bulan Juli 2022 &isi yang ada (ANAKONDA) untuk mengetahui ketidaksesuaian yang terjadi diarea produksi, lalu dilakukanlah analisis sebab akibat menggunakan diagram tulang ikan sehingga diketahui penyebab tebesar terjadinya defect kedaluarsa adalah tidak terdapatnya sistem FIFO (First In First Out) & FEFO (First Expired First Out). Kemudian dilakukanlah rencana dan pelaksanaan perbaikan untuk menciptakan sistem FIFO & FEFO dengan memperbaki layout penyimpanan dan membuat sistem pencegah kesalahan menggunakan sistem barcode dengan bantuan alat PDT (Portabel Data Terminal) pada bulan Juni 2023, hingga didapatkan hasil data pada bulan berikutnya tidak ditemukan mother roll rubber sheet kedaluarsa dikarenakan tidak FIFO & FEFO, & perbaikan dinyatakan berhasil karena melampaui target awal yaitu 18 kali temuan, dan untuk menjaga keberhasilan perbaikan, maka dibuatlah standar pemakaian sistem agar para operator dapat mengikuti sistem yang telah dibuat./PT X is facing quality problems that occur in the process of uniting materials because defective materials are found whose lifespan has expired, or has exceeded the usage standard within a predetermined time limit, which is for 3 days, with an average number of 704 units per month from May 2022 to May 2023. Therefore, this needs to be studied using the QCC (Quality Control Circle) method where this method is carried out by gathering several employees to discuss the problems faced and find solutions so that the quality of the products produced by PT X can be maintained. So that the quality of the products produced by PT X can be maintained. This method begins with determining the theme first by observing product quality data until the theme is obtained to reduce expired defects in mother roll rubber sheet products. The next step is to set a target by looking at the best achievement, which is only 18 times the finding of expired material because it is not FIFO & FEFO, which is in July 2022 and February 2023, after setting the target, an analysis of existing conditions (ANAKONDA) is carried out to find out the non-conformities that occur in the production area, then a causal analysis is carried out using a fishbone diagram so that it is known that the biggest cause of expired defects is the absence of a FIFO (First In First Out) & FEFO (First Expired First Out) system. Then the plan and implementation of improvements to create a FIFO & FEFO system by improving the storage layout and creating an error prevention system using a barcode system with the help of PDT (Portable Data Terminal) tools in June 2023, until the data results in the following month were not found expired mother roll rubber sheets because they were not FIFO & FEFO, and the improvement was declared successful because it exceeded the initial target of 18 findings, and to maintain the success of the improvement, a standard system usage was made so that operators could follow the system that had been created.
