Abstract

Proses pengelolaan stok solar di PT XY saat ini masih manual dengan penggunaan tongkat ukur dalam pengecekan stok tangki solar. Proses ini mencakup pengukuran manual, pencatatan stok, dan pengiriman laporan sisa stok secara manual ke kantor gudang sparepart. Dengan jarak perjalanan operator solar yang cukup jauh, proses ini menjadi tidak efisien. Selain itu, adanya temuan Internal Audit (IA) yang menyatakan tabel baku stok solar tidak bisa dijadikan dasar sebagai penentu stok realtime, mendorong departemen gudang sparepart untuk melakukan improvement,hal ini dikarenakan improvement adalah poin dari Key Performance Indicator (KPI) yang harus dicapai oleh setiap departemen. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem monitoring tangki solar berbasis NodeMCU ESP8266 guna meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan solar dan juga penyelesaian audit serta menjadikannya pencapaian terhadap KPI. Penelitian ini berhasil merancang dan mengimplementasikan alat sistem monitoring tangki solar yang efektif di PT XY dengan menggunakan sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04 sebagai pembaca stok solar dan mengirimkannya ke webserver menjadikan alat ini implementasi solusi berbasis teknologi membawa signifikan dalam meminimalisir kegiatan manual, memungkinkan pengelolaan solar dengan menampilkan stok secara realtime dengan melihat tampilan stok pada webserver. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kesalahan dalam pembacaan sensor yang disebabkan oleh ketidaktenangan solar akibat angin dari tutup tangki yang terbuka. Untuk memperbaiki hal ini, perlu diperhatikan instalasi pada tangki agar benarbenar tertutup rapat. Perancangan ini diakui sebagai improvement yang sebelumnya tidak ada di area solar departemen gudang sparepart, memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pencapaian Key Performance Indicator (KPI), penyelesaian temuan Audit Internal ( IA ) serta meningkatkan performa departemen secara keseluruhan. Kata kunci : NodeMCU ESP8266, HC-SR04, Sistem Monitoring Tangki Solar Referensi : 24 (2015 – 2023) / The current process of managing solar stock at PT XY involves manual methods using a measuring stick to check the solar tank stock. This process includes manual measurements, stock recording, and manual submission of remaining stock reports to the spare parts warehouse office. Due to the considerable distance covered by the solar operator, this process becomes inefficient. Additionally, findings from an Internal Audit (IA) state that the standard solar stock table cannot be used as a basis for determining real-time stock. This has prompted the spare parts warehouse department to undergo improvement, as it is a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) point that must be achieved by every department. Therefore, this research aims to design and implement a solar tank monitoring system based on NodeMCU ESP8266 to enhance the efficiency of solar management, address audit concerns, and achieve KPI milestones. The study successfully designed and implemented an effective solar tank monitoring tool at PT XY using an ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 for solar stock readings, transmitting data to a web server. This technological solution significantly minimizes manual activities, allowing real-time display of solar stock through a web server interface. However, challenges include errors in sensor readings caused by solar instability due to an open tank lid in windy conditions. To address this, proper tank installation ensuring complete closure is necessary. Acknowledged as an improvement in the solar department of the spare parts warehouse, this design contributes positively to achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), resolving Internal Audit (IA) findings, and enhancing overall departmental performance.
