Abstract

As a developing country, Indonesia has always battled with unemployment and economic issues which entrepreneurs can help by providing more job opportunities and contributing to the country’s economy. Students as future entrepreneurs need to be provided with programs to enhance their entrepreneurial intentions such as internships to give them opportunities to learn, entrepreneurship education for knowledge related to entrepreneurship, and family. The purpose of this research is to seek influence among Independent Variables (Student Internship Program, Entrepreneurship Education, Family Support) on Dependent Variables (Entrepreneurial Intention). There are four hypotheses that need to be analysed. This study uses quantitative method, population are students from Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) Medan Campus, Hospitality Management major, intake 2020, and 73 students are sample obtained by Slovin Formula and Simple Random Sampling. This study also used Questionnaire, Multi Linear Regression, and SPSS 25 to help with calculation. The research object is UPH Medan Campus students and result of study shows that Student Internship Program has positive and significant influence on UPH Hospitality Student’s Entrepreneurial Intention; Entrepreneurship Education has positive and significant influence on UPH Hospitality Student’s Entrepreneurial Intention; Family Support has positive and significant influence on UPH Hospitality Student’s Entrepreneurial Intention; and Student Internship Program, Entrepreneurship Education, and Family Support has positive and significant influence on UPH Hospitality Student’s Entrepreneurial Intention. / Sebagai negara berkembang, Indonesia selalu berjuang dengan masalah pengangguran dan ekonomi dan pengusaha dapat membantu kedua masalah tersebut. Siswa sebagai pengusaha masa depan perlu disediakan dengan program untuk meningkatkan niat kewirausahaan mereka seperti magang untuk memberikan kesempatan belajar, pendidikan kewirausahaan untuk pengetahuan yang berkaitan, dan dukungan keluarga secara emosional, intelektual, dan finansial. Tujuan penelitian adalah mencari pengaruh antara Variabel Independen (Magang, Pendidikan Kewirausahaan, Dukungan Keluarga) pada Variabel Dependen (Minat Berwirausaha). Ada empat hipotesis yang perlu dianalisis. Studi ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, populasi adalah siswa dari Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) Medan Campus, Manajemen (Hospitality), angkatan 2020 dan sampel sebanyak 73 yang dipilih dari Slovin dan Metode Sampling Acak. Studi ini juga menggunakan kuesioner dan alat pengujian hipotesis regresi linear berganda. Software SPSS 25 digunakan untuk membantu perhitungan. Objek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa UPH Medan Campus dan hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa Magang memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan pada minat berwirausaha mahasiswa manajemen (hospitality) UPH Medan Campus; Pendidikan Kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan pada minat berwirausaha mahasiswa manajemen (hospitality) UPH Medan Campus; Dukungan Keluarga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan pada minat berwirausaha mahasiswa manajemen (hospitality) UPH Medan Campus; dan Magang, Pendidikan Kewirausahaan, dan Dukungan Keluarga memiliki pengarahan positif dan signifikan pada minat berwirausaha mahasiswa manajemen (hospitality) UPH Medan Campus.
