Abstract

Penelitian ini menggali urgensi pemeriksaan kode etik sebagai respons terhadap anggota polisi yang terlibat dalam pelanggaran hukum. Kode etik memiliki peran vital dalam memastikan bahwa perilaku anggota polisi sejalan dengan nilai-nilai moral dan etika profesi. Pemeriksaan kode etik bukan hanya sekadar penegakan disiplin internal, melainkan juga menjadi pondasi utama dalam menciptakan akuntabilitas dan menjaga integritas lembaga Kepolisian. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian membahas implikasi dan dampak dari pemeriksaan kode etik terhadap profesionalisme dan citra institusi polisi. Sementara itu, penelitian ini juga mengulas secara mendalam proses penanganan pelanggaran tindakan etik kepolisian. Fokus utamanya adalah pada upaya mencapai keadilan bermartabat dalam penegakan hukum di Indonesia. Dengan menggabungkan perspektif hukum, etika, dan sosial, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami tantangan yang dihadapi oleh aparat penegak hukum dan mencari solusi yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas penanganan pelanggaran etik dengan tetap mengedepankan nilai-nilai keadilan. Penelitian ini menggabungkan analisis mendalam terhadap kasus-kasus konkret pelanggaran etik dan praktik pemeriksaan kode etik dalam tubuh Kepolisian. Dengan merinci konteks dan dinamika setiap kasus, penelitian ini berusaha memberikan wawasan yang lebih luas tentang peran kode etik dan penegakan hukum dalam membangun integritas dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap institusi penegak hukum. / This study explores the urgency of examining codes of conduct in response to police officers involved in lawlessness. The code of ethics has a vital role to play in ensuring that the behaviour of police officers is in line with the moral and ethical values of the profession. The examination of the code of ethics is not only the enforcement of internal discipline, but also the main foundation in creating accountability and maintaining the integrity of the Police institution. In this context, the research discusses the implications and impact of code of conduct examination on the professionalism and image of police institutions. Meanwhile, this study also reviews in depth the process of handling violations of police ethics actions. Its main focus is on achieving dignified justice in law enforcement in Indonesia. By combining legal, ethical, and social perspectives, this study aims to understand the challenges faced by law enforcement officials and find solutions that can improve the quality of handling ethical violations while still prioritizing the values of justice. This research combines an in-depth analysis of concrete cases of ethical violations and the practice of examining the code of ethics within the Police Force. By detailing the context and dynamics of each case, this study seeks to provide greater insight into the role of codes of ethics and law enforcement in building public integrity and trust in law enforcement institutions.
