Abstract

Industri manufaktur mengalami transformasi besar sebagai hasil dari kemajuan teknologi, perubahan sosial, dan tantangan lingkungan. Proses produksi yang baik menjadi faktor utama untuk mencapai target produksi, Curing adalah salah satu departemen produksi yang output nya adalah ban jadi atau tire, dalam proses produksi Overflow adalah fenomena dimana tire atau output dari mesin Curing ini terdapat bagian yang menjorok keluar di bagian shoulder tire maka dari itu dengan adanya metode quality control circle yang akan digunakan diharapkan bisa menekan angka problem overflow pada output Curing ini. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menurunkan angka delaytime / losstime pada proses produksi di mesin curing akibat overflow. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif, dengan sumber data berasal dari database curing dan scan barcode yang diperoleh melalui serangkaian kegiatan pengumpulan secara langsung di lapangan melalui analisis data harian produksi perusahaan. Detail alir penelitian terdiri dari; Identifikasi masalah, studi literatur, studi lapangan, definisi konseptual, definisi operasional, observasi, identifikasi, pencatatan, pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, pembahasan, kesimpulan dan saran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:(1) Metode quality control dapat menurunkan angka delaytime / losstime pada mesin curing akibat overflow.(2) Metode ini dapat menurunkan presentase overflow dari 1% ke 0,8%. / The manufacturing industry is undergoing a major transformation as a result of technological advances, social changes, and environmental challenges. A good production process is the main factor to achieve production targets, Curing is one of the production departments whose output is a finished tire or tire, in the production process Overflow is a phenomenon where the tire or output of the Curing machine has a part that juts out in the shoulder tire, therefore the quality control circle method that will be used is expected to reduce the number of overflow problems at the Curing output. The research aims to reduce the number of delaytime / losstime in the production process in the curing machine due to overflow. This research is a type of quantitative research, with data sources coming from the curing database and barcode scans obtained through a series of collection activities directly in the field through analyzing the company's daily production data. The detailed research flow consists of; Problem identification, literature study, field study, conceptual definition, operational definition, observation, identification, recording, data collection, data processing, discussion, conclusions and suggestions. The results showed that: (1) The quality control method can reduce the number of delaytime / losstime on the curing machine due to overflow (2) This method can reduce the percentage of overflow from 1% to 0.8%.
