Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menguji pengaruh diversitas gender dalam struktur dewan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Kinerja perusahaan diproksikan dengan kinerja keuangan perusahaan dan nilai perusahaan. Kinerja keuangan perusahaan diukur menggunakan Return on Asset (ROA) dan nilai perusahaan diukur menggunakan Tobin’s Q. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan data sekunder, terdiri dari 84 perusahaan yang berada pada sektor keuangan yang terdaftar di BEI selama tahun periode 2020-2022. Teknik pengumpulan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling method dan diolah dengan SPSS ver 25. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil bahwa keberadaan perempuan dalam struktur dewan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan dan nilai perusahaan, sedangkan proporsi perempuan dalam struktur dewan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan namun tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Hasil tersebut memberikan wawasan pengetahuan baru mengenai hubungan keberagaman dewan dalam gender terhadap kinerja perusahaan dan dapat dijadikan dasar pertimbangan bagi manajemen dan pemegang saham dalam menentukan strategi tata kelola perusahaan. / The aim of this research is to examine the influence of gender diversity in the board structure on company performance. Company performance is proxied by company financial performance and company value. Company financial performance is measured using Return on Assets (ROA) and company value is measured using Tobin's Q. Research was conducted using secondary data, consisting of 84 companies in the financial sector listed on the IDX during the 2020-2022 period. The sample collection technique in this research used a purposive sampling method and was processed using SPSS ver 25. This research found that the presence of women in the board structure had no effect on the company's financial performance and company value, while the proportion of women in the board structure had a significant positive effect on the company's financial performance. but has no influence on company value. These results provide new insight into the relationship between board gender diversity and company performance and can be used as a basis for consideration for management and shareholders in determining corporate governance strategies.
