Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan agar mengetahui apakah dengan adanya penerapan good corporate governance pada perusahaan perbankan yang diwakili oleh dewan komisaris independen, dewan direksi, dan komite audit, serta adanya faktor dari kepemilikan institusional memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang diwakili oleh rasio pengembalian aset atas perusahaan pada perusahaan yang bersektor di perbankan yang telah tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia dan S&P Capital IQ dalam periode 2016-2022. Metode regresi data panel digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan model random effect model sebagai model penelitian terbaiknya. Total keseluruhan sampel berasal dari 29 perusahaan yang membukukan rasio atas pengembalian aset yang positif dengan total 203 total data yang diobservasi. Hasil pada penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa Dewan Komisaris independen tidak mempunyai pengaruh atas Kinerja Keuangan; Dewan Direksi tidak mempunyai pengaruh atas Kinerja Keuangan; Komite Audit mempunyai pengaruh atas Kinerja Keuangan; Kepemilikan Institusional mempunyai tidak memiliki pengaruh atas Kinerja Keuangan. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu referensi kepada calon investor dalam mengambil keputusan berinvestasi, dan sebagai referensi bahan bacaan serta penelitian selanjutnya bagi para akademisi lainnya. / This study aims to determine whether the implementation of good corporate governance in banking companies represented by the independent board of commissioners, the board of directors, and the audit committee, as well as the factor of institutional ownership has an influence on the company's financial performance represented by the ratio of return on assets on companies in the banking sector that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and S&P Capital IQ in the period 2016-2022. The panel data regression method is used in this study with the random effect model as the best research model. The total sample came from 29 companies that posted a positive return on assets ratio with a total of 203 total observed data. The results of this study show that the independent Board of Commissioners has no influence on Financial Performance; the Board of Directors has no influence on Financial Performance; the Audit Committee has an influence on Financial Performance; Institutional Ownership has no influence on Financial Performance. This research can be used as a reference for potential investors in making investment decisions, and as a reference for reading material and further research for other academics.
