Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya teknologi ditambah dorongan dari pandemi, kini banyak dari seluruh kalangan masyarakat di Indonesia mengintegrasikan penggunaan laptop dalam keseharian mereka baik untuk bekerja maupun sebagai salah satu sarana hiburan. Namun, dikarenakan sifat laptop yang mobile, laptop dapat digunakan di mana saja. Hal ini menimbulkan berbagai variasi posisi bekerja yang tidak semestinya, atau dalam kata lain menyimpang dari kaidah ergonomi bekerja di laptop. Banyak pengguna laptop tidak kenal dengan posisi bekerja menggunakan laptop yang benar. Dalam upaya penulis untuk mencari cara agar dapat menunjang penggunaan laptop selama bekerja, penulis berpikir untuk membuat produk yang praktis digunakan untuk jangka waktu yang panjang. Produk yang akan dikembangkan ditujukan sebagai sarana alternatif yang diharap dapat membantu memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna akan posisi bekerja di laptop yang lebih layak atau ergonomis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode design thinking yang dimulai dengan pengumpulan data, menganalisa masalah, brainstorming ide dan alternatifnya, pembuatan prototipe sebelum pada akhirnya diuji cobakan pada target market, yang untuk skripsi ini adalah karyawan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah prototipe tas laptop berukuran 43*28*8cm yang dapat digunakan sebagai penyangga laptop dilengkapi dengan tempat penyimpanan yang bervariasi. Tas laptop yang dikembangkan merupakan tas laptop jenis handcarry yang juga dapat dijadikan tas selempang dengan tambahan tali pundak. / As technology advances, coupled with the push from the pandemic, nowadays many people from all walks of life in Indonesia are integrating the use of laptops into their daily lives, both for work and as a means of entertainment. However, due to the mobile nature of laptops, they can be used anywhere. This leads to various improper working positions, or in other words ones that deviate from established ergonomic principles. Many laptop users are unfamiliar with the correct working positions when using a laptop. In an effort to find ways to support the use of laptops during work, the author thought of creating a practical product for long-term use. The product to be developed is intended as an alternative tool that is hoped to help meet the users' needs for more suitable or ergonomic laptop working positions. This research utilizes the design thinking method, starting with data collection, problem analysis, brainstorming and ideation, followed by prototype development before finally undergoing user testing, which for this thesis is employees. The result of this research is a prototype laptop bag measuring 43*28*8cm that can be used as a laptop support equipped with various storage compartments. The developed laptop bag is a handcarry type laptop bag that can also be used as a shoulder bag with the addition of a shoulder strap.
