Abstract

Kewirausahaan memainkan peran penting dalam menciptakan nilai ekonomi dan mengurangi angka pengangguran di Indonesia. Namun, minat berwirausaha masih rendah di kalangan mahasiswa, termasuk di Universitas Pelita Harapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dampak pendidikan kewirausahaan, lingkungan sosial, motivasi berwirausaha, dan efikasi diri terhadap niat berwirausaha mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 175 responden yang merupakan mahasiswa/i Universitas Pelita Harapan yang telah lulus pada mata kuliah kewirausahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) dengan aplikasi SmartPLS versi 4.0.9.6 Prosedur pengumpulan data akan dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan metode skala likert, secara daring menggunakan platform Google Form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika faktor-faktor seperti lingkungan sosial yang positif, motivasi berwirausaha yang kuat, pendidikan kewirausahaan, serta efikasi diri yang tinggi, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada minat berwirausaha. Diharapkan kolaborasi antara orang tua, lembaga pendidikan, dan mahasiswa ini dapat secara efektif meningkatkan keterampilan kewirausahaan dan kesiapan mahasiswa menghadapi dunia kerja yang dinamis./ Entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in creating economic value and reducing unemployment rates in Indonesia. However, entrepreneurial interest remains low among students, including those at Pelita Harapan University. This research aims to understand the impact of entrepreneurial education, social environment, entrepreneurial motivation, and self-efficacy on students' entrepreneurial intentions. The research subjects consist of 175 respondents who are students of Pelita Harapan University who have completed entrepreneurship courses. The research method employed is quantitative, using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis is conducted using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS application version 4.0.9.6. Data collection procedures will involve distributing questionnaires using Likert scale method, online through the Google Form platform. The results of the study indicate that factors such as positive social environment, strong entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial education, and high self-efficacy have a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial interest. Hoped that the collaboration between parents, educational institutions, and students can effectively enhance entrepreneurial skills and students readiness to face the dynamic job market.
