Abstract

Dalam studi kasus relokasi rumah Joglo Siraman ke Sekar Djagad, terjadi sebuah pengalihan fungsi ruang yang digunakan untuk aktivitas rumah menjadi tempat untuk beraktivitas seni tari. Sekar Djagad dikenal sebagai tempat cagar budaya di Yogyakarta yang sering digunakan untuk tempat pertunjukan sendratari. Namun, untuk mengakomodasi aktivitas tersebut, ruang Joglo masih terkesan statis. Tipologi bangunan joglo selalu memiliki bentuk dan desain yang tidak jauh dari jumlah kolom, langit-langit dengan usuk yang berjarak konsisten, menutup ruang dengan pencahayaan matahari yang minim. Karena itu, atmosfer yang dinamis perlu hadir untuk mengakomodasi aktivitas seni tari. Melalui analisa tapak, tata ruang dirancang untuk mendukung atmosfer kawasan sehingga pengguna dapat mengalami sekuens yang dinamis. Ditemukan bahwa, dengan mengabstraksikan bentuk dan pola atap joglo, peneliti berhasil menciptakan inovasi desain dengan kedinamisan seni tari Jogja. Pola atap joglo tari tersebut dapat menciptakan pencahayaan ruang yang dinamis serta mempengaruhi atmosfer atau pengalaman ruang dibawahnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa joglo yang sebelumnya memiliki atmosfer yang statis, dapat menciptan atmosfer yang dinamis dengan merefleksikan kedinamisan seni tari. / In the case study of the relocation of the Joglo Siraman house to Sekar Djagad, there has been a functional shift from using the space for household activities to a venue for performing arts. Sekar Djagad has been known as a cultural heritage site in Yogyakarta, often used for dance drama performances. However, to accommodate these activities, the Joglo space has still appeared static. The typology of Joglo buildings has always featured a form and design that includes a consistent number of columns, ceilings with evenly spaced rafters, and minimal natural lighting. Therefore, a dynamic atmosphere has been needed to accommodate the performing arts activities. Through site analysis, the spatial arrangement has been designed to support the area’s atmosphere, enabling users to experience a dynamic sequence. It has been found that by abstracting the form and pattern of the Joglo roof, the researchers have successfully created a design innovation reflecting the dynamism of Jogja's dance arts. The pattern of the Joglo dance roof has been able to create dynamic lighting and influence the atmosphere or spatial experience below it. This study has shown that a Joglo, which previously had a static atmosphere, can create a dynamic atmosphere by reflecting the dynamism of dance arts.
