Abstract

Tanaman memiliki keberagaman jenis dengan bentuk yang sangat banyak dan kehadiran tanaman pada hidup manusia memberi banyak dampak positif. Manusia memasukan tanaman ke dalam ruang agar dapat merasakan kedekatan manusia dengan alam di dalam ruang dan manfaat lain bagi kesehatan pengguna ruang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui asal bentuk sebuah tanaman dan bagaimana tanaman dapat dinilai cocok di dalam sebuah ruang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dimana dilakukannya eksperimen dengan menggunakan tanaman sebagai variabel yang akan diuji ke dalam ruang sampel dan dilakukan penilaian secara deskriptif dengan bantuan dari tabel panduan penilaian. Diawali dengan pembedahan morfologi tiga tanaman dari ensiklopedia Phytospatial dan ruang sampel yang menggunakan Exhibition Phytospatial. Setiap tanaman dimasukan ke dalam ruang sampel secara bergantian dengan beberapa ukuran berbeda untuk melihat interaksi bentuk tanaman dengan desain ruang sampel. Analisis morfologi tanaman dibagi menjadi beberapa ketegori yang memiliki hubungannya dengan aktivitas, fungsi ruang, dan pengguna ruang. Kemudian analisis tanaman yang sudah diterapkan dalam ruang sampel secara deskriptif dengan bantuan tabel panduan penilaian dan diakhiri dengan tabel penilaian tanaman di setiap ruang yang diuji. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bahwa setiap bentuk tanaman terbentuk dari morfologi tanaman dan dibutuhkannya mengetahui morfologi tanaman sebelum diterapkan ke dalam desain interior karena tidak semua tanaman cocok dimasukan ke dalam desain interior. Lalu tabel panduan ini dapat bermanfaat untuk mengetahui kecocokkan tanaman dalam desain interior dan mengetahui alasan dibalik kecocokkan tersebut. / Plants have a variety of types with very many forms and the presence of plants in human life has many positive impacts. Humans incorporate plants into the space in order to feel the closeness of humans to nature in the space and other benefits for the health of space users. This research aims to find out the origin of the form of a plant and how plants can be considered suitable in a space. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method where experiments are carried out using plants as variables to be tested into the sample space and descriptive assessment is carried out with the help of an assessment guide table. Starting with the morphological dissection of three plants from the Phytospatial encyclopedia and the sample room using the Phytospatial Exhibition. Each plant was inserted into the sample room in turn with several different sizes to see the interaction of the plant shape with the sample room design. Analysis of plant morphology is divided into several categories that have a relationship with activities, space functions, and space users. Then analyze the plants that have been applied in the sample space descriptively with the help of an assessment guide table and end with a plant assessment table in each tested space. The conclusion of this research is to know that each plant form is formed from plant morphology and the need to know the morphology of plants before being applied to interior design because not all plants are suitable for interior design. Then this guide table can be useful for knowing the suitability of plants in interior design and knowing the reasons behind the suitability.
