Abstract

Pendidikan formal melalui sarana sekolah merupakan elemen penting di dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Sekolah dengan pendidikan Kristen tidak hanya memberikan ilmu berdasarkan kurikulum yang sudah ditentukan tetapi juga mendorong para pembelajar untuk bertumbuh secara rohani. Sekolah Kristen IPEKA Tomang II menganut dua jenis kurikulum, yakni kurikulum ICE-C dan kurikulum Merdeka. Kurikulum ICE-C mengaplikasikan suatu pembelajaran yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Kristiani sedangkan kurikulum Merdeka merupakan pembelajaran yang mendorong para pembelajar untuk aktif terlibat di dalam kelas secara berkelompok. Desain awal Sekolah Kristen IPEKA Tomang II tidak secara khusus mengimplementasikan nilai Kristiani, yang hanya didapatkan melalui pembelajaran formal. Di samping itu, aransemen furnitur dalam ruang-ruang pembelajaran yang ada masih berwujud individualis sehingga belum sejalan dengan tujuan kurikulum Merdeka. Penerapan nilai Kristiani dalam desain dan aransemen elemen-elemen ruang yang mendorong kegiatan berkelompok akan membawa Sekolah Kristen IPEKA Tomang II kepada pembelajaran yang utuh dan pengaruh kekristenan yang bersifat membangun.Metode desain yang digunakan dalam perancangan interior Kristen IPEKA Tomang II adalah konsep pertumbuhan rohani melalui desain simbolisme. Elemen-elemen desain seperti alur aktivitas, penataan furnitur, pemilihan warna dan material, serta permainan bentuk merujuk pada simbolisme Kristiani dan ditujukan untuk menciptakan ikatan yang kuat antara pembelajaran sekolah dengan pertumbuhan rohani dan pengembangan karakter bagi para guru, para murid, dan semua yang terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. /Formal education through school facilities is an important element in society life. Schools with Christian education not only provide knowledge based on a predetermined curriculum but also encourage students to grow spiritually. IPEKA Tomang II Christian School adheres to two types of curriculum, namely the ICE-C curriculum and the Merdeka curriculum. The ICE-C curriculum applies learning based on Christian values, while the Merdeka curriculum encourages students to be actively involved in class in groups.The design method used in designing the interior of the IPEKA Tomang II Christian School is the concept of spiritual growth through symbolism design. Design elements such as activity flow, furniture arrangement, choice of colors and materials, and play of form refer to Christian symbolism and are intended to create a strong bond between school learning and spiritual growth and character development for teachers, students, and all involved in the learning process.
