Abstract

Bambu merupakan salah satu sumber daya Indonesia yang lama telah terintegrasi dalam kebudayaan dan kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat. Seiring berjalannya waktu, teknologi semakin berkembang dan penggunaan produk bambu menjadi kuno, terlebih lagi di kota-kota urban. Hal tersebut menyebabkan keperluan untuk menghadirkan suatu tempat yang bersifat multi fungsional dengan tujuan untuk mengedukasi, meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat, dan mengembangkan industri bambu sekaligus pada lingkungan urban. Dalam dunia yang semakin urban, ada kebutuhan untuk membangun hubungan antara ruang, manusia, dan lingkungan. Hal ini dapat diwujudkan menggunakan pendekatan desain placemaking, yang merupakan sebuah cara untuk membentuk sebuah ruang yang dapat membuat pengalaman yang bermakna bagi orang-orang. Dengan begitu, tujuan studi kasus perencanaan interior Pusat Komunitas Bambu adalah untuk menyediakan tempat yang dapat digunakan untuk memperdaya bambu melalui pengalaman ruang yang bermakna bagi penggunanya, yaitu komunitas-komunitas bambu di Indonesia menggunakan prinsip desain placemaking. / Bamboo has long been a resource that has integrated into the culture and daily lifestyle of Indonesia citizens. As time goes by, technology keeps advancing and the use of bamboo products are deemed outdated, more so seen in urban settings. This leads to the demand to create a place that is multi-functional with the purpose of educating, increasing the local economy, and improving the bamboo industry in an urban environment. In the era of urbanization, there is a need to create a relationship between space, humans, and the environment. This can be realized through the use of the design principle of placemaking, which is a method of shaping a space that can create an experience that is meaningful to those who uses the space. Therefore, the purpose of this study case in designing the interior of a bamboo community center is to provide a place that can be used to raise awareness about bamboo through spatial experiences that is meaningful to the users of the space, which is the bamboo communities in Indonesia usiing the principles of placemaking.
