Abstract

Latar Belakang: Prevalensi stroke cukup banyak, dengan angka kejadian stroke iskemik lebih mendominasi. Stroke merupakan penyebab utama kecacatan jangka panjang yang dapat mempengaruhi status fungsional dan fungsi neurologis pasien. Penilaian ini penting guna memprediksi prognosis pasien stroke dan menentukan upaya kelanjutan rehabilitasi yang tepat pada setiap penderita demi memaksimalkan fungsi tubuhnya dengan optimal. Penelitian yang relevan sudah pernah dilakukan, namun belum pernah ada penelitian yang membedakan status fungsional pasien di antara subtipe stroke iskemik berdasarkan klasifikasi Bamford. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui perbedaan status fungsional di antara subtipe stroke iskemik pada fase akut berdasarkan klasifikasi Bamford yang dinilai dengan skala BI di Rumah Sakit Siloam Lippo Village. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan desain studi analitik komparatif kategorik tidak berpasangan dengan cara potong-lintang. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui data primer dengan melakukan anamnesis dan pemeriksaan fisik pasien stroke iskemik yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi di Rumah Sakit Siloam Lippo Village. Data yang sudah terkumpul disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dengan menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel. Analisa statistika dilakukan pada aplikasi Statistical Package for the Social Sciences dengan melakukan uji kai-kuadrat. Hasil Penelitian: Terdapat perbedaan status fungsional di antara subtipe stroke iskemik pada fase akut dengan hasil nilai p < 0.05. Kata Kunci: Stroke iskemik, status fungsional, dan klasifikasi Bamford. / Background: The prevalence of stroke is high, with ischemic stroke dominating the incidence. Stroke is a major cause of long-term disability that can affect the functional status of patients. This assessment is important in order to predict the prognosis of stroke patients and determine the appropriate rehabilitation continuation efforts for each patient in order to maximize the patient's functional ability more optimally. Relevant studies have been conducted, but there has never been a study that differentiates functional outcome among ischemic stroke subtypes based on the Bamford classification. Purpose: Knowing the difference in functional status between ischemic stroke subtypes in the acute phase based on the Bamford classification assessed by the BI scales at Siloam Lippo Village Hospital. Methods: This study was conducted with an unpaired categorical comparative analytic study design in a cross-sectional manner. Data collection will be obtained through primary data by conducting anamnesis and physical examination of ischemic stroke patients who meet the inclusion criteria at Siloam Lippo Village Hospital. The collected data will be presented in tabular form using Microsoft Excel application. Statistical analysis will be carried out on the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences application by conducting the chi-square test. Research Results: There is a difference in functional status between acute phase ischemic stroke subtypes with a p-value <0.05.
