Abstract

Sunny Meal adalah katering sehat yang didirikan dengan melihat pentingnya memenuhi nutrisi bagi anak khususnya dari umur 7 tahun yang sudah bisa mengkonsumsi makanan padat. Sunny Meal ingin membantu para orang tua (khususnya para ibu), untuk menyajikan makanan sehat yang praktis. Berdiri sejak 2018, terdapat beberapa masalah pada desain identitas visual yang dibangun seperti sistem desain yang tidak konsisten dan kurang tepat untuk merepresentasikan katering anak yang terpercaya. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk membuat desain identitas visual Sunny Meal yang mempunyai sistem dan merepresentasikan citranya. Perancangan ini dilakukan dengan tahapan “The Branding Process” dan didasari dengan teori Identitas Visual oleh Alina Wheeler. Perancangan ini menghasilkan identitas visual yang didasari oleh kata kunci “playful”, “nutritious”, dan “practical” yang membawakan pengalaman makan sehat dan bergizi dengan aktivitas yang menyenangkan. Perancangan ulang identitas visual ini didominasikan oleh ilustrasi keanak-anakan/Sunny Meal is a healthy catering service founded with a focus on meeting the nutritional needs of children, particularly those aged 7 and above who can consume solid food. Sunny Meal aims to assist parents, especially mothers,in providing practical healthy meals. Established in 2018, there have been some issues with the visual identity design such as inconsistent design systems and inadequate representation of reliable child catering. The aim of this redesign is to create a visual identity for Sunny Meal with a clear system that reflects its image. This redesign process follows "The Branding Process" and is based on Alina Wheeler's Visual Identity theory. It results in a visual identity characterized by key elements such as "playful", "nutritious", and "practical", delivering a healthy eating experience with enjoyable activities. The redesigned visual identity is predominantly illustrated with childish elements.
