Abstract

Musik dapat menjadi salah satu bentuk komunikasi antar individu. Musik dengan genre pop memiliki relevansi erat dengan masyarakat. Musik pop di Indonesia sering mengangkat tema seperti motivasi, cinta, dan kisah remaja. Biasanya musik pop diiringi dengan video musik yang mempresentasikan visualisasi dari lagu tersebut. Ada beberapa bentuk teknik dalam menghasilkan video musik, seperti teknik live-action, film dokumenter, dan animasi. Dalam proyek ini akan mengangkat lagu Mimpi oleh Putri Ariani untuk divisualisasikan dengan konsep dapat mempresentasikan makna dalam lagu tersebut. Pelaksanaan proyek ini direncanakan dengan beberapa tahapan penelitian meliputi analisis lirik lagu, struktur lagu, dan cerita yang dapat dikembangkan dalam lirik. Dan dilakukan secara studi kepustakaan dan studi wawancara. Studi Pustaka dikumpulkan dari data-data meliputi halaman web, buku, dan jurnal akademik. Sedangkan untuk studi wawancara dilakukan wawancara langsung dengan narasumber yang terkait. Hasil visual dari proyek ini berupa animasi 2D yang diangkat dari cerita narasi yang dapat menyampaikan makna dalam lirik lagu Mimpi. Disertai dengan pengembangan studi karakter dan latar. Perancangan desain ini terdiri atas animasi berukuran 1920 x 1080 px dengan durasi tiga menit. Animasi ini mengaitkan tema yang berdasarkan dari kata kunci harapan dan ajaib. / Music can serve as a form of communication between individuals. Pop music genre holds a close relevance to society. Pop music in Indonesia often explores themes such as motivation, love, and teenage stories. Typically, pop music is accompanied by music videos that visually present the essence of the song. Various techniques are employed in producing music videos, including live-action, documentary-style, and animation. This project aims to visualize the song "Mimpi" (Dream) by Putri Ariani, presenting its meaning through a conceptualized approach. The project implementation involves several research stages, including lyric analysis, song structure examination, and story development based on the lyrics. This is conducted through literature review and interview studies. Literature review collects data from sources such as websites, books, and academic journals, while interviews are conducted with relevant stakeholders. The visual outcome of this project is a 2D animation derived from a narrative storyline that effectively conveys the essence of the song's lyrics. It includes the development of character studies and backgrounds. The design plan consists of animations sized at 1920 x 1080 pixel with a duration of three minutes. The animation aligns with themes based on keywords such as hope and magic.
