Abstract

Dalam konteks sekolah, murid menjadi pusat perhatian utama pendidikan dengan mengakui keberagaman karakter, gaya belajar, dan bakat individu mereka. Meskipun berasal dari latar belakang dan keyakinan yang berbeda, sikap inklusif memastikan persatuan tanpa perbandingan di antara mereka. Rutinitas kelas terdiri dari serangkaian kegiatan, termasuk devosi, proses pembelajaran, dan pengumuman, yang kemudian ditutup dengan doa bersama, menciptakan suasana yang membangun dan berempati. Meskipun sebagian siswa mungkin kurang termotivasi, terutama dalam matematika, beberapa di antara mereka menunjukkan keterampilan alami dalam memahami dan menguasai materi, seperti kemampuan cepat menghitung. Dalam pembelajaran peluang, adapun Enduring Understanding yang perlu siswa ingat yaitu: Peluang suatu kejadian adalah perbandingan antara banyaknya kejadian yang diamati dengan banyaknya kejadian yang mungkin, frekuensi harapan adalah harapan banyaknya suatu kejadian yang terjadi dari banyaknya jumlah percobaan yang dilakukan, kejadian saling lepas adalah dua kejadian yang tidak bisa terjadi bersamaan, kejadian saling bebas apabila peluang kejadian pertama tidak berpengaruh pada peluang kejadian kedua, peluang dilihat sebagai alat Allah untuk menyatakan keadilan-Nya dalam kehidupan manusia (melihat peluang dalam suatu kejadian). Tujuan pembelajaran meliputi analisis dan menyelesaikan aturan pencacahan (aturan penjumlahan dan perkalian), menentukan ruang sampel sebuah kejadian, mendeskripsikan dan menentukan serta menyelesaikan masalah yang berkaitan dengan peluang kejadian majemuk. Dengan demikian, tujuan pembelajaran memberikan arah konkret bagi guru untuk merencanakan pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa mencapai EU yang telah ditetapkan. Guru menggunakan pendekatan Inquiry Learning untuk mengembangkan pemikiran kritis dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui lima pertanyaan tertulis, yang menyoroti pemahaman mereka terhadap konsep peluang majemuk. Hal ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih menyeluruh dan kontekstual terhadap konsep yang diajarkan. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa tujuan pembelajaran dalam materi peluang tercapai, terlihat dari siswa yang awalnya belum memahami peluang, setelah beberapa kali pertemuan diajarkan dan diberi latihan soal, mampu menyelesaikannya. Selain itu, siswa juga mencapai target nilai yang ditetapkan. Di sisi lain, penulis tugas akhir menunjukkan komitmen pada pengembangan profesional dengan menekankan pentingnya memprioritaskan kualitas pengajaran. Saran untuk memanfaatkan masukan dari rekan sejawat menggarisbawahi pentingnya kolaborasi dan pembelajaran bersama antar guru dalam meningkatkan kontribusi mereka dalam dunia pendidikan. / In the context of school, students are the primary focus of education, acknowledging the diversity of their characters, learning styles, and individual talents. Despite coming from different backgrounds and beliefs, an inclusive attitude ensures unity without comparison among them. Classroom routines consist of a series of activities, including devotion, learning processes, and announcements, which are then concluded with a collective prayer, creating a constructive and empathetic atmosphere. Although some students may be less motivated, especially in mathematics, some of them demonstrate natural skills in understanding and mastering the material, such as quick calculation abilities. In learning about probability, the Enduring Understanding that students need to remember includes: the probability of an event is the ratio of the number of observed occurrences to the total number of possible occurrences, expected frequency is the anticipated number of occurrences of an event from the total number of trials conducted, mutually exclusive events are two events that cannot occur simultaneously, events are independent if the probability of the first event does not affect the probability of the second event, probability is seen as a tool of God to express His justice in human life (seeing probability in an event). Learning objectives include analyzing and solving counting rules (addition and multiplication rules), determining the sample space of an event, describing and determining and solving problems related to compound event probabilities. Thus, the learning objectives provide a concrete direction for teachers to plan learning that can help students achieve the established EU. Teachers use the Inquiry Learning approach to develop students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Evaluation is done through five written questions, highlighting their understanding of compound probability concepts. This aims to provide a more comprehensive and contextual understanding of the concepts taught. Evaluation shows that the learning objectives in probability material are achieved, as seen from students who initially did not understand probability, after being taught and given problem-solving exercises, they were able to solve them. Additionally, students also reached the set target scores. On the other hand, the author of the final assignment demonstrates a commitment to professional development by emphasizing the importance of prioritizing teaching quality. Suggestions to utilize feedback from peers emphasize the importance of collaboration and shared learning among teachers in enhancing their contributions to the field of education.
