Abstract

As we known, in each continent on earth vertical housing is a solution to the problem of lack of land development, with the construction of vertical housing is expected to overcome the problem of land shortages and more able to accommodate many people. However, vertical housing also causes social isolation in its inhabitants due to the lack of social interaction that occurs in vertical housing. Vertical dwelling to be achieved is vertical dwelling which has good communal space characteristics, so that it can be a catalyst for the residents to conduct social interaction. And produce a typology of communal space design that is suitable for vertical housing. Vertical housing is classified into several types as a basis for analysis, from this classification can be found how vertical housing can support communal space so that it can encourage social interaction. Communal space also has several classifications as a basis for analysis to create a good space so that it can improve facilities in vertical housing. Vertical dwelling that encourages social interaction in communal space based on the spatial criteria and the method or method of distribution by using the neighborhood level and platform methods. Therefore in this design, vertical dwelling applies the principle of forming characteristics of the communal space and the use of the communal space distribution method with the neighborhood level and platform methods. / Seperti yang diketahui, pada setiap kontinen dibumi hunian vertikal adalah solusi permasalahan kurangnya lahan pembangunan, dengan pembangunan hunian vertikal ini diharapkan dapat mengatasi masalah kekurangan lahan dan lebih bisa menampung banyak orang. Namun, hunian vertikal juga menyebabkan isolasi sosial pada penghuninya dikarenakan kurangnya interaksi sosial yang terjadi pada hunian vertikal. Hunian vertikal yang ingin dicapai adlah hunian vertical yang memiliki karakteristik ruang komunal yang baik seihngga dapat menjadi katalisator bagi penghuninya untuk melakukan interaksi sosial. Serta menghasilkan tipologi rancangan ruang komunal yang sesuai terhadapt hunian vertical. Hunian vertikal diklasifikasikan menjadi beberapa jenis sebagai dasar analisis, dari klasifikasi ini dapat ditemukan hunian vertikal bagaimana yang bisa mendukung ruang komunal sehingga bisa mendorong interaksi sosial. Ruang komunal juga memiliki beberapa klasifikasi sebagai dasar analisis untuk menciptakan ruang yang baik sehingga dapat meningkatkan fasilitas pada hunian vertikal. Hunian vertikal yang mendorong interaksi sosial pada ruang komunal berdasarkan pada kriteria pembentuk ruangnya serta cara atau metode pendistribusiannya dengan cara menggunakan metode neighborhood level dan platform. Oleh karena itu dalam perancangan ini, hunian vertikal menerapkan prinsip karakteristik pembentuk ruang komunal tersebut serta penggunaan metode pendistribusian ruang komunal dengan metode neighborhood level dan platform.
